Anyone able to apply ipo using prostocks? I am getting an error.

Hi all,

Please suggest if i apply 67 lots (BHNI), then will i get full 67 lots in case of oversubscription, or will i get 14 lots ( min for SHNI).
Should i apply 14 lots (SHNI) or 67 lots (BHNI) in case of oversubscription.

I have two questions
1) Is allotment in HNI category is also lottery based?

2) I read somewhere, we should not tick cutoff at the time of applying from HNI category, can you please explain me the reason?

3) Is applying in HNI is safe as applying in retail category or I can face problem like applying in SME category category. I mean, selling entire lot is possible on listing day?

1. Yes both bhni and shni lottery
2. For hni you need to manually enter the highest price of the price band. I dont know the reason but i guess cutoff concept is only for retailers.
3. Applying shni is safe wrt to selling lots. You can sell any number of shares(14 lots are alloted for hni) if you want ,not like sme. You can easily exit in preopen in mainboard ipo due to sufficient liquidity. But remember you should be able to handle 14 lots on listing day ,be it in profit or loss. I have seen many first time.hni allotees who were trapped due to discount listing of some.

Out of topic but very interesting.
I was going the IPO page of Pwer Mech Projects. This IPO came in August 2015. Listed in negatige and closed further negative. Against the issue price of 640 closed at 585 or so. Only a few members of present numbers were seen there. One of them is @Chem cho Very happy to read.
He was very happy that he got only one allotment against six applied. You are a very senior member of this forum. Dear @Chem cho are you still holding the alloted shares ?
I was also alloted 1/1. Still holding. Today all time high and closed at 3799.80 on BSE.Please reply, if possible, will feel happy to read your reply. Sometimes old memories are very pleasant.

In BHNI category, is there any benefit to apply for 15-16 lakhs or not? are the chances of allotment same for 10 lakh application vs 15 lakh application. Assuming issue subscribed 50-60x or more in HNI category.

No benefit.

There is no benefit and infact there are not enough applicants at that no. of lots, your application might not even go in lottery and may be rejected straightaway

BHNI Applicants,

I think Utkarsh IPO fund will not be available for Netweb Tech IPO.

Certainly it won't be available. Refund on 20th.

Sometimes we are not sure, if we can get refund on the expected refund date. Ek din pehle toh pakka nahi milega
