In case of main IPOs, quota of shares for QIB is 50% , Nii 15 % and Retail 35% is in general. Whenever Retail quota is 10% and QIB 75%, retail is likely to subscribe more in number than QIB and might have happened in past. But amount wise it is likely to be difficult. In exception any thing may happen but not always.
Still Not Clear About OFS. If Applied At Cut off will I get allotment ? Anil Singhvi Shared Today That One will get allotment if Applied at 1000 and Ticked Cut off. As Per Me Cut off Price Means Allotment at Decided Price Irrespective of Whatever Price Entered. Am I Right ? Need Your assistance.

@crsl , so, does this mean NIIs would get these OFS shares in the price range of 1103.85 and the highest bid, say 1200 (whatever price they bid) and Retail will get the shares in the price range of 1165 and the highest bid, say 1220 (whatever price each individual bid)?
If that’s true, doesn’t it mean that NIIs would always get it cheaper than Retail where the shares are oversubscribed?

@Kapz - That is 100% true. I also dont know why this rule is in place by SEBI. At one point, they are reserving 10% for retail, but then also setting floor price for retail by clearing price of non-retail. So retail will mostly get at higher prices only. Due to this rule only i and many others generally tend to bid at non-retail only. But even after that don't get any shares, as last moment big people bid at extremely high prices.
@DuckkyDuck thanks for confirming. Indeed a very strange rule from SEBI that is clearly skewed towards Non-retails. I think, ideal would be to have all pay the same price like it’s done in Pre-open session on IPO listings. Not sure what the thinking would be for regulators to look at it more carefully.
Friends, It's very strange provision of SEBI and totally unfavored of retailors. Only 10% is reserve for retailors, but price band applies that is allotment minimum price of Non retailors. Not only that but there is no ban on bidding for Nos. of shares in retail quota hence actual small investors can't avail any benefit of OFS . I appeal all of you to draw the attention of SEBI for change the policy in this regard. Also request SEBI to allot the shares to Retailers at the rate of Price band declared at the time of opening the issue and in the case of over subscription allotment should be in proportionate base to all applicants. Also there should be limit in amount or Nos of Shares for retailer portion. So that retailers may be benefitted in real sense.
Sir what will be ratio for retail & HNI allotment chances big & small both ,

Utkarsh Small FB today saw the highest subscription in NII category. The allotment will be really tough one. Best wishes for the all applicants. The second part of this ipo was hidden. The Ujjivan small Bank got the indirect advantage of this ipo. I have purchased good number of shares @30 and also written in the group about this, today it was trading @43 and till the listing day it will be in rising mode. Hope who have purchased uSB and gained something. Idea works everywhere & everytime.
I bought Ujjivan in march 2020 around same price as today (42) and after that it fell to 15 Rs. did averaging a lot and able to sell in profit after2.5 years. This ipo remind me of Ujjivan FS ipo, it opened with profit but after never gain back that level. Hope this one will stay strong for long run.

Further to make you understand in layman terms or normal language.
The point i was trying to make was people have spammed IPO board discussion with only Patanjali OFS discussion which is counter productive. In the afternoon yesterday when there was a glitch in terms of the Subscription data. Generally good kind members keep providing data in comment section but it was filled with OFS data rather than the Subscription data.
Hence the term "Stupid" to say spamming the comment section with non related thing is Stupid.
I hope you will understand it now since you couldn't grasp such simple thing.

Patanjali OFS, was Rs1110.50 the cutoff for retail allotment?
As per data of NSE and BSE, Retail Bidders who bid at or above ₹1,165.55/- will get full allotment. And those who bid at ₹1,165.50/- will get allotment on proportionate basis.
Applied 3 Retail, 1, 2 and 3 lots . SHNI one Application for 14 lots. Seeing the high subscription figures in all categories Allotment chance is a mere 5%.
@GrayIsTheNewBlack Oh! No allotment for me in that case. I saw the indicative price at 1111.34 (BSE OFS) and applied at 1114. Would the money be blocked?
@Nothing New , you shouldn't look at that indicative price. The BSE indicative price is for non-retail (in case retail is undersubscribed). For Retail, BSE doesn't show any indicative price.
