Ans 1 . If OFS undersubscribe means less than 100℅ in retail category then apply at cut of price. In case of patanjali it subscribe 300℅ in retail category and allotment based on purely price priority basis so higher bidder alloted... In that case check BSE cumulative bid data at 3:20 pm then decide what price is equilibrium.
In case of patanjali total retail share offered 25 lakh and above price 1165 -70 Already bid placed at 3:20 .. So safe side apply full firm allotment @ apply 1175 range.
In retail category cutoff price and indicative price have no meaning if issue oversubscribed and ofs allotment method purely price priority basis.

It is OFS not FPO
bid as per subscrption status by determining approx price.

You will get an idea about possible clearing price in Retail only by 3 to 3 25 pm, by checking the cumulative Demand Schedule at
both NSE and BSE.

@Thiagarajan Ramasamy  cumulative Demand Schedule option is not available at least at the moment. Are you saying that it will be displayed past 3 pm?

What are the chance approx.
If I apply for 200 quantity, how much quantity can I get?

The cumulative demand schedule as of now at NSE and BSE is total about 50 lakh shares at various price points as against
the Retail Quota of 2533964 shares.

when we check cumulative bid data on bse site
it shows more than 1 lakh entries even for bids above 1175(only 5% arbitrage)
if you total bids for the rates above 1175, it comes close to 25 Lakhs which are for retail investors

does that mean anyone who has applied below 1175 wouldn't get allotment as price is given priority in this

and regarding cut off, in ipo's cut off means the highest price at which allotment is done, here , people are saying cut off price is 1107 at which we won't get allotment for sure, if anyone is sure, kindly confirm what will cut-off mean in OFS, a trusted friend told me cut of is 1107 here, so won't get allotment on that, just wanted to be sure

This OFS already subscribed 4 times. Only yesterday it was locked in 5% lower circuit the whole day and today in 5% upper circuit. Decide and bid at a price based on your own analysis and risk profile.

If im correct then 1125 or greater should be allotment price in ofs.

When will one see the credit of shares In case of allotment? Before the commencement of trade on Monday June 17? Experts please clarify

@Nothing New, based on the overall subscription if your bid is greater than 1165/1170 (exact value will be between this range), you will get an allotment.
Anything less than this, there will be no allotment.

actually, I was interested in applying and that's why wanted to know the allotment system, I am not sure how they will allot the shares and on what basis

as per the bid details on bse, there were already more bids than the quota( on prices above 1165-70) at that time, so if allotment is pure play price basis, then there would be no logic in applying at a price lower than that

I applied at 1170 for 40 quantity but as per the latest data even at that price one won't get allotment( if only the highest bids are considered) and in non-retail section, most bids are for price range 1135-45, already holding 210 shares of patanjali

so let's see how they do the allotment, even if i get alloted at 1170 and somehow have to incur a loss, that's fine( I didn't apply for around 2 lakhs for this reason)

will be a good learning experience

Retail clearing price seems to be around 1168 to 1170.

Yes it seems clearing price will be 1166+. I applied at 1163.15 and seems will not be allotted.

Patanjali : Placed Order at 1528 hrs for OFS Qty 55 @ 1155 and Qty 25 @ 1175.
Just to get convincing knowledge of OFS dynamics prices post allotment.
In Past, I have purchased HAL from market during OFS at Rs 2565 qty 5.

Yes it will be around 1166. I also placed order of 170 shares each from 4 accounts @ 1161.15 but will not be alloted.

If you apply at cut off price, you get definite allotment. But, the problem is you only get proportionate allotment which is very very less. In this case, whoever applied at cut off will not be getting even 5% of the shares they applied for. So, you are hardly going to get 5-7 shares per account if you applied for 170. Therefore, no use of applying at cut off price.

@Aman Ipo Yaar bahot confusion hai😅😅 to kis price pe apply karna hai ye kaise decide karna hai?? Ofs me kya higher price enter karne se zyada allotment hota hai?? Aur agar zyada price enter kar diya to 2 lac se upar ho jayega bid value.. I applied for 180 shares at cut off price ..

@Tejas Pandya , cut off price is 103.8 (this is determined by non-retail bidding).
Cut off price pe apply karne se koi allotment nahi hoga in case of oversubscription.
It is just an indicative price ki jiske niche allotment nahi hoga.

Now coming back to what price to bid, you need to observe till 3.25pm and place your bids at a higher price accordingly to stand any chance of allotment.
Also, if you put a very high price remember you will be allotted at that price. So, need to be careful while placing OFS orders.
I see some orders at 1300/1400, I don't know what these people are smoking while placing such orders.

No, that was cut off for non retail. For retail cut off price would come closer to 1166 but very few qty will be alloted at cut off price. I would request Tejas Pandya to confirm for us if he gets alloted any shares. He will get contract note tonight in case he gets alloted any shares. According to my calculation, he would get 4-5 shares.

I once again confirm that no allotment will be to cutoff rate as this is much below the actual matcing rate . Hope u might have heard zee business where anil singhvi misrepresented this cut off rate for OFS.

according to this,
company can choose to allot shares on cut-off price to share who applied at higher price( highly unlikely, company would incur loss) or at the price applied, for eg i applied at 1170 based on the data, so if my bid qualifies then company can either allot at 1103 or 1170( highly likely)

Cut off ke chakkar me sab chal base....

Unlike the cut off price in Retail IPO where you will get allotment at the final price, the cut off price in OFS is just an indicative price only. If the OFS is subscribed 1 time or undersubscribed, all applicants at cut of price bids will get allotments. However, Company will not allot any share below than that cut off price. In case of oversubscribed issues like Patanjali, shares will be allotted on price priority, from highest price bids to downwards till the total shares on offer get exhausted. Here price bids at cut off price will not get any allotment.

Couldn’t get NSE subscription details of OFS, searched their website thoroughly, Put my bids at 1111 , on the basis of BSE data. Anyone could access to NSE data.
