Corona हो या porona, QIB, NII and Retailers have lots of money. So IPO is surely going to be oversubscribed with the brand of UTI.

But as per the IPO price being predicted around Rs .950/- or so, neither much listing gains be expected nor allotment due to availability of only 1,35,75000+ shares for retailers to apply.

Don't be over optimistic ,market will correct in due course

Sbi is offloading it's shares and converting its equity portfolio to cash portfolio in many ipos. It's very early to comment on UTI AMC ipo before the announcement of price band.
But one thing is sure, sbi is going to make huge profits this financial year. Sbi share prices should zoom after seeing it's earnings

RII = 10.00L Forms = 1.10X Applic. wise (Avg allotment of ~13.58 shares per lot)
NII = 30K Crs. = ~54.28X

Interest cost *@7.50%p.a.* for 7days = 136.64paise for 1X

Thus, for NII the costing = 54.28 X 136.64paise = Rs.74.17 per share (= GMP)

And, for RII the costing = 13.58 X 74.17 = Rs. ~1007/- (= Kostak)

Did they try for an IPO a decade back? What is the story?

@iponooob, First its shareholders were not giving the nod to float the IPO then it did not have a permanent CEO for a long period after shareholder gave nod. Now it has removed all hurdles so I do not think, it will create some unnecessary noise in its IPO.

This is professionally mentioned company. there is identifiable promoter. So no share holders quota.

Any updates on LIC IPO

It is too early to ask for update on LIC. It will not come before March 2021.

any gmp price of uti asset management ipo ?

Since 3000 crores are to be generated by selling about 3.89 crores the price should be about Rs 770 per share

Listing gain seems to be in dicey because of SBI involvement.

Good for listing gain
Good for portfolio.

But listing gain will depend on IPO price.
