Subscription figures unlikely to be impressive, considering the present trend.
People are treating this company as Government company without much controls, and with heavy competition from private players. Hence, no proper response.
Listing gains are almost remote.
You can apply if you can consider this as an investment, since there is not much to lose.
I have put in ONE apllication as against Four in routine course.

UTI AMC has seen degrowth in the recent years compared to other AMCs. It's sponsors BOB, LIC , PNB ,NSE are also selling their stake reducing quasi government ownership. This can also reduce their business from EPF etc due to this change.
Though price of 554 seems to be reasonable , it ahs lesser potential to value add compared to HDFC AMC. In the past 2 months there is net outflow from mutual funds and SIPs are reduced. This situation may accelerate for all AMCs in reduced business due to job loss from economic degrowth.
On a longer term better picks are available at 500 price range for long term. Having less fancy than HDFC AMC listing gain may be minimal.
Considering CAMS listing gain, it is better to avoid UTI AMC. It is also not going to be heavy subscribed mainly retail. HDFC Amc or CAMS can be better option. Expert please guide.
i had done application as below , lets see LIKHITA - 2 application , from 2 different demat account UTI AMC - 2 application , from 2 different demat account MAZAGAON - 2 application , from 2 different demat account
@ 11.40 , now QIB AND NII if both come in action it will boost faith in this IPO , also RII can understand apply or not, hope they come in action quickly
There are a couple of boarders trying to sell this ipo to retailers. RII are not applying because 1.IPO fatigue.2.40 rupees GMP is too meagre for minimum lot as net return for minimum lot may around rupees 1000 or even less.3.The AMC business of company seems to have platued out. 4. Investors are spoilt by bumper returns of latest few IPOs. 5. The AMC business is overcrowded by multiple players. 6. SEBI is killing the profitability in the business by rightly adopting investor bias.7.What is issue size of likhita and this issue. People are not favoring Likhita over UTI. It is the size!. 8.RII are quite savvy and not dumb.
1. IPO fatigue.. true...applied almost all IPOs with full force but allotment was not that much... Now it's like...apply karane se kya fayda , allotment milta hi nahi hai...
P-8 also true, but will take chance in this ipo...
Very well explained, but looking at the subscription figures so far, RII has applied the most compared to any other category. I am aware QIB and NII action starts post 12 and me being a retailer is waiting for those numbers to apply. Fingers crossed :)
I sold happiest minds shares(qty 40 @365) after 2nd day of listing amount of 14700 odd and my broker angel broking slapped me "margin penalty" of 35 rs.
I complained about this as I got allotment thru ipo. Yet to respond by them as whole city branch of ABL quarantine due to covid19
This is just for information

@ harit Fwd your bill to SEBI / SCORES.They will slap them back with such a higher penalty that all their IPO proceeds will be sucked out.????????????
In one my clients account Penalty was levied of 32Rs but this was reversed the same day and 32Rs Credit was given in selling IPO share with no Margin. So problem of Margin requirement for IPO

Any DP holding can be sold without any margin , provided your ledger balance should not be negative.. IPO holdings can be sell freely..no margin needed
