What to do with LIC? Looks like a fat lazy elephant only interested in retreat. Should we hold and accumulate or sell and come out. Till date I am having around 25%loss. I can hold it for long time but is there any chance of come back?
Need suggestions on IRCTC also which I am holding with around 25% loss.

LIC ne sabko fasaya he, actually jo chiz achchi hoti to qib wale jarur aate but aaye nahi, Insort item faltu he wo future me bhi aage nahi jayegi better yehi he ki exit le lo aur badhiya item jese ki eicher motors Asian paints, adani power, linde india jese stocks me invest karlo baki lic ke bharose kuchh nahi hone wala. Irctc ka kah nahi sakte expert ka kahna he ki wo future me aage jayega but muje nahi lagta, government sector se dur rahe yehi behtar he.

Sorry to hear about your losses, better to shift focus to clean science, aether and other stocks as suggested before also, exit LIC and recover your losses by investing in these companies and regarding IRCTC some says it has potential but if you don't want to boil your blood any longer, you may sell it and enter some good stocks and recover your losses. FIIs have come and good stocks will take off.

What could be the timeline or the two stocks suggested by you. Generally I look for stocks which I can hold for long term, i.e. more than a year. Please give your opinion on Shyam metallic. On paper it has a good rating but not performing for last 6 months.

Don't look any stock for long term, keep reviewing after every quarter , I do the same and don't do buy and forget .
I am not following shyam metal so can't comment..
