U applied for 1500 shares@66 = 99000/-

U got 162 shares @ 63 = 10206/-

And refund is 99000 - 10206 = 88794

That means u got shares at rs 63 not at rs 66. and 3 rs. is included in ur refund amount.

I paid Rs.99000/-(1500 shares x Rs.66/-) during IPO. The price fixed for retail investors is Rs.63/- per share. I was allotted 162 shares. I got a refund of Rs.88794/- on 12.03.10 (i.e) Rs.99000/- (-) RS.63 x 162 shares. Everything is fine.
But what happened the balance amt. of Rs.3/- per share? (i.e) we have to get back Rs.4500/- (i.e) 1500 shares x Rs.3/- extra collected. Can anybody help me please?

Any update on date of listing? Is it 15th march?

As u have applied for 400 shares, the basis of allotment for 400 shares is only 16 out of 37 means only 16 out of 37 applications will be alloted shares (just like a lottery)....

yes,the retail investor get 5% discount on 66 that works out to be 3 therefore the effective rate of retail investor is 63*162

OK, looks like I got 162 shares alloted. But, somehow the math does not work out to Rs.66. Are retail investors getting a discount in this share?

I applied at cut-off price. How many shares would I have got? Also, is there a discount for retail investors?
