Thanks NRI investor... Understood your strategy... successfully using resident accounts for both banks and demats... but how do you handle while IT filings? same like resident Indian by ITR form 1? or simply filing is ignored by maintaining the overall Indian income below basic exempted limit of 2.5L? Kindly ignore if you do not feel comfortable for answering this question. Thank you!!

NRI are not allowed to trade in saving account , If you are based in USA OR Canada you cannot apply for IPO in NRO DEMAT account as per my understanding and you can buy stocks and sell then in NRO account , you have to pay 30% tax on profit if you are NRI , FOR USA ,or CANADA , OTHER countries rules i am not aware INCOME tax is slowly watching you and all the transaction done will be entered in their records , this is for me also income tax is slowly watching all the transactions made by all of us I request you not to trade and close your saving account and PPF account also mutual funds if you are NRI i faced lot of difficulties in transferring my sons PPF MONEY as it is taxed at 30% in USA when you transfer in dollars This government is slowing adding new rules , which many of us don't know i may be wrong , pl consult your tax adviser in INDIA and USA both of them will tell their rules and both are not aware of india and USA common rules This one rule , and many others like for property sold

Maine Bola Th Kuch Unusual Ho Raha iss Counter mein.... https://www.chittorgarh.com/ipo/ipo_discussions.asp?a=1324&c=562364&ap=0
I was The One of 2 people on forum Who Gave Contra Recommendation of 'Avoid' in this IPO... This Type of Move was Necessary for IPO Markets where People Are Getting Mad in Blocking Their Money Everyweek by Just Seeing GMP.... Play Safe.....
Grey market rates are anyways poor for those ipos... n it takes a fraction of a second on listing day for these wafer-thin grey market premiums to disappear as it happened today.
The strategy at least for the short term should be to buy on listing.

I do think Uniparts is for a slight longer term and I am also not applying the three but Uniparts performance should not be the reason fpr not applying
Company is growing at Excellent growth rate. Nothing to worry, to those who are still holding there alloted shares. hold for few quarters and observe It.
@Amit Chheda A share listed at discount and closed further down. If it was a good company it would have listed at premium. According to you if reaches 500, means further down, I think it will not be a good sign. You want to add if it goes below 500. Your decision. I have no right to say anything about this. But I think why this only ? Means nothing good is available than this one in market. Suno sab ki karo apne man ki hi.

@ PKRAJ.
Every IPO is not only for Listing gain, nor every company is adani.
Best example was Rainbow medicare, as most of them paniced and exited.
we have to evaluate and this can be done only by observing couple of quarterly result and its price co-relation to result after it's quarterly performance.
Valuation wise its cheap at this cost, even some brokerage firms can not believe that this one listed at discount, there are many ipos with good fundamentals and good valuation listed in discount but gave good returns after some time, and still giving good returns
StockTerminator - Valuation wise it was truly cheap but still faltered. This is clearly suggestive of something that not many of us knew of. May be the revenues, profit, margin were unreal, manipulated. May be there is somthing which is soon going to happen.
The unexpected listing and subsequent behaviour of this share have put many in a precarious situation. I think listing below the price and ending with 6.75 % lower and near the lowest point of the day (with a pivot drop of 3%) is tremendous negative. In such circumstances whatever may be the perspective good or bad , early recovery is mostly a far cry. May be it , a new game plan of the operator. Be it , it must have to surge within some days.On the contrary, if it recedes slowly without any reasonable time to time bounce , it means further pain is impending. In such circumstances ' stop loss' does not prove to be an effective tool. Better to exit at any convenient point , if the conviction level is low. Otherwise , what @ Amit Chheda (I have great confidence in his sense) has told is reasonable. As I see , in an odd circumstance 500 (505.5 to 501.5) may be the last hope of reversal for it. One should decide as per one's risk taking ability. Today's delivery is 47 % of retail & Nii . Nowadays, it is not indicative of anything in particular.
Disclaimer : I have three retail lots. I could not trade today as I was otherwise engaged. Once 6.75% gone , I shall wait until that level as mentioned above and may also take fresh buy at any convenient point without stop loss except in the range of 500. Thank you all hoping for the best.
Yes truly said. Lots of orders on LC price but it's happene in all ipos listing. Most of Retailers always put order at LC just after 9.02 am. Main thing on nse whole day sellers qty 15-18 lakhs. Buyers qty 1.5-2.5 lakhs.
But traded around 75 lakhs shares.

Rainbow, Sansera and latest Fusion are similar examples though all tell a slightly different story. I am holding all three and in fact, averaged Rainbow a bit by adding on dips.
I think this will be more like Sansera. I will look at add if it drops below 500
After analysing these listings, I can think of following: - It was a fundamentally OK company with fair valuations as given out by various financial analysts. - I feel there is a game in pre open also. You find numerous sellers putting bids at LC (why someone who has got shares couple of days back want to get rid off them at half rates). - So, humongous artificial sellers are created with least price (who ultimately just before 9.45 cancel their bids). - It creates panic among many retailers, which is obvious. Many of them put their qouta in pre open for sale. - Though, after many artificial sellers cancel their bids, price equilibrium moves up a bit. But by that time it's late. - Then a cycle of panic starts, which is unending. Now IF the company is fundamentally strong with fair valuations, it will cover up. BUT, THE SAID PART IS THE UPWARD JOURNEY MANY A TIMES IS TEDIOUS AND NEED LOT OF PATIENCE. I am a novice and a new entrant. As a lay man what I thought I penned down. It may happen it may not recover at all (probability is low for that). Next Q results which are not far away will tell the reality. Then this theaory of selling pressure due to new rules may be justified or may not be.......
Well said I made the same observation today and mentioned it in this forum in the morning.
It was just unbelievable that around 920 when the IEP was 500 ...there were 72k shares up for sale at LC rates. Something is fishy when your allotted shares at 577 n willing to sell it at 500... I can understand orders increasing when the IEP was 575 but straight away having so many orders at 500 is something that needs to be looked upon. Another interesting observation is that the orders went to 78K from 72k for the LC in IEP rate by 945. ( not much change from the orders at 920 then), which is indicative of something wrong.

Remember All Grey Deals Settle in Pre Open.... They Try Their Best to get their bhav...
Pre open session of Uniparts was really strange .Even till 9.40 equilibrium comes down several times. This hapens rarely. All the day was on operaters don't know but many brokers still allow short selling in preopen
One way to avoid such manipulations on listing and also in the interest of common investors is that sebi allows trading in upcoming ipo on subject to basis from the day company announced issue ptice/dates of opening of ipo. Shares if alloted will automatically be debited from the demat account just prior to the listing date. It will be somewhat like Rights Entitlement which is traded on exchange.
Those are LIMIT SELL ORDERS where you want to sell at the price where shares get actually listed and you pick lower circuit as the limit value.
There are equivalent LIMIT BUY ORDERS where you want to buy at the listed price and you limt the value at upper circuit value, you should have seen these in buy side of orders.

Uniparts khud bhi dooba aur baki teenon IPOs ko bhi le dooba. Dharmaj ki listing ne sab bata diya tha. Mainboard IPOs with 10% or less GMP will continue to remain in high risk zone due to current HNI policy. Majority of allottees in sHNI and bHNI have very limited funds and they all rush to sell in preopen or on listing. They don't want to get stuck with 2 L worth of single stock. Also, they want to apply further with same money. Avoided applying big here. Max allotment was to bHNI.
@Trueinfo, your analysis is quite right but at the same time I want to tell people who want to go for long term wealth creation (more than 50% in a couple of years) go and bye Unipart as per your risk taking capacity. Unipart is a good company for long term.
Disclaimer: I did not sold my 2 retail lots, bought 100 more around 545 and if available will add more around 520-500 with a stop loss of 460-450.
Bad listing looking into the premium quotes of some members. GMP is totally a different game of market. Listing below issue price, itself is big thing. Clossing below 6 to 7%, just imagine, how bad it is. I rather request the members not to quote premium many times in a day unless have a very good source of GMP. Many issues listed at very high than GMP quoted by members also. It happens. Difficult to say future of this IPO. I generally say "It is all for the best". When I didn't get any allotment in this IPO was bit disappointed. Then I said to myself, it is all for the best. Now I am happy but feeling bad who got allotment and were happy. "MAN PROPOSES GOD DISPOSES" Have a nice time.

I never imagine that it will list in discount. Alloted one hni in my whole life which listed in discount. Was very happy when found the allotment, thinking atleast 15k to profit dega hi. I now i am feeling very sad. It is very risky to apply in hni.
