Shivajee on ur query on F-16 sale to Pak and its implications on India.
Shivajee, F-16 is a sixty/seventies aircraft. Pak not only has F-16s but F-15s, Mirage III, Mirage 2000-5, and host of Chinese aircraft like F-7, J-10, and many others. Their latest if JF-17 Thunder. Their AF has approx 350 aircrafts. Indian air force is capable enough to handle their aircrafts. Our AF has participated in worlds toughest air exercise called Red Flag exercise held in Alaska in 2010 n shown their mettle against NATO n other friendly countries. Infact the flying aces(Topguns) of US AF were thoroughly beaten by our pilots flying vintage Mig-21s and SU-30s. Our pilots are considered the best in the world. So u can rest n sleep peacefully that Pak F-16s do not pose a threat to us. Coming to their latest aircraft JF-17. Our LCA is considered superior to it on many matters including manevoribility, fire power n range. In fact Pak withdrew its JF-17 aircraft from Singapore n Dubai airshow when they came to know that India is also showing its LCA in the show. Besides we have planned to fight on 2 fronts simetaneously. Now coming to Indian army. Our land forces are much bigger n materially superior to Paks. N Pak navy is no comparison to ours. So u see u r in safe hands. U can sleep peacefully. If the need be we r ready to sacrifice ourselves for u all. Only request is that we request our countrymen to give us our dues. Its seen that the bureaucracy doesnt understand its problems. The status, allowences and privilages have been systimatically eroded since independence just because they fear a coup. The country which doesn''''t respect its soldiers is doomed. This is the most generic answere that I can give in an open forum due to security reasons. I can''''t go into details. If I start writing it will become a book.
Only scenario where it can become difficult is a nuclear war. We will suffer a lot but u can be rest assured that Pak will be annihilated. If that is any comfort.
Sir, I noted your reply, i have also posted my views in your other post regarding the same in the other thread. Thank you for the explanation sir. I am proud of our jawans, saluting them. I know pak won''t come single handedly and if they come along with big bully China, will we be able to tackle them both? In that case, will any other country support us?
i m just asking out of patriotic curiosity and if you feel these are not to be discussed here publicly, please ignore this question.
Shivajee, We have never fought on 2 fronts simultaneously. I reasonably believe that China would not attack India in case of confrontation with Pak. However, if they do they will get a fitting reply. Also, the thing to remember is that present day is not 1962 n polital masters are also not the same. Present day political masters do not live in a fools world and believe in Panchsheel like Nehru did. Also, they r also not after reducing defence forces as Nehru wanted no defence forces for India. He believed that we had no enemy and require no defence forces. So after independence no modernisation of armed forces took place, no modern arms were procured and blatant nepotism and corruption took place in promotions. Also, the defence minister of today is not that powerfully as was Krishna Menon. Today no such factors are there. Also, it was criminal on part of polital masters in 1962 to not use AF during 1962 war when we had a much superior AF. If we had used the story would have been different in 1962. So coming back to today. China would be a fool to attack us in collusion with Pak. Remember, to attack in mountains, the forces required is in the ratio of 1:9 or above. It would not be easy and would be a massacre. Also, AF would not sit silently and would strike hard n deep in China. So China would be fool to even considering attacking India. And lastly, we should not believe that anyone would come n help us. Its better if we fend for ourselves. If someone comes it would be bonus.

16 SEP 2015 NDTV NEWS Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India said on Wednesday it has traditional lenders.
Private-equity backed Ujjivan Financial Services Pvt Ltd and Janalakshmi Financial Services Pvt Ltd were among the 10 granted approval to seek one of the niche small finance bank licences. Most of the others were microfinance companies that already make small loans to businesses and farmers.
Nearly half the population of India, Asia''s third-largest economy, did not have a bank account before a government programme led to millions of new accounts this year.
More than 100 million people in the country work at small businesses but only about 4 per cent of small businesses have access to institutional finance.
Setting up small banks will enable microfinance firms to increase their loan ticket size although they must ensure that half of their loan book constitutes loans of not more than Rs 25 lakh ($37,700).
Existing non-bank finance companies, local area banks and micro-finance institutions were eligible to apply for the permits and 72 submitted applications.
The winners will in future be able to become fully fledged banks depending on their performance and if they comply with rules for banks, the RBI has said, although the transition will not be automatic.
Janalakshmi''s investors include Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia and TPG, while Sequoia Capital and the World Bank arm IFC are investors in Ujjivan.
The other institutions selected for small bank permits included Au Financiers (India) Ltd, Capital Local Area Bank Ltd and Disha Microfin Pvt Ltd.
In a separate process, last month, the RBI had named 11 companies to set up payments banks that can take deposits and remittances but cannot lend. Big telecom carriers and Reliance Industries, controlled by India''s richest man, were among those selected for the payments bank permits
Cut off time as announced by service provider for 3pm or so is applicable on closing day only to give sufficient time to feed your bid with exchange on time
Also, out of topic question. Today I read on net news Pakis are going to use F-16 against India instead of war on terror(in case if there is a fight between 2 countries).
Since you said once, you are in national security, I m asking this question. Do we we have the capacity to defend or fight the F-16 flights. If these 2 countries will fight, will we be at least safeguard our territory or win or lose?
I am a very patriotic fellow thats why i m asking sorry.

It looks like the media carrying stories of "flying coffins" of single engine russian fighter planes as they became old. I think Indians have to procure new ones at par with present times.
I think Pak will not dare to fight with us alone and they might bring China as a bully. Chinese have built roads around ITB and they have a "string of pearls" surrounding coastline of India. They are actually culturally very much connected to us, but Chinese are so advanced right sir? Will we outsmart them in a conffrontation?

Hello Members, I have a basic question. Once any IPO allotment is done, Can I trade the shares in any exchange BSE/NSE? I do not see any option to select the exchange but the share bid details are different for both NSE and BSE. Does that means the bidding is done specific to the exchange. Any suggestion?
I am surprised and shocked that there is some other person posing like you. I also have doubts that he is stars. Please don''t stop coming because of people like this. No point coming to this forum without people like you, septa, etc. Now that you''ve said, I m going to blindly apply.
Can we apply today night 7 pm also, through online asba account? Is there any working timings like 9 to 345 pm for online ASBA?
