Thyrocare -> Applied for 13 lots. Got Babaji ka thullu !!
Ujjivan -> Applied for 13 lots. Again got Babaji ka thullu.
Had submitted 2 applications for USA H1B Visa lottery. Usme bhi babaji ka thullu mila aaj.

Some people just aren''t made for a lottery.

question to the experts purely for knowledge - Suppose i want to apply for 9 Lots To increase the chances can i apply 9 Times (1 lot every single time).Is the best way only to use small lots in Different Demat Accounts or can we do it Single DEmat Account Also

small lot in different account ,in case of oversubscription increases probability of allotment

Firstly thanks a lot for the contributions by all the members. Nice forum to be with to learn and participate in IPO''s.

I have applied for single lot 4 applications using family/friends accounts in Thyrocare and single lot 6 applications using family/friends accounts in Ujjvan. Unfortunately got none in both. I am not sure whether I am not lucky enough to make it through in lottery or any technical issue with the applications I have put. Is there anyway we can know the actual reason for no allotment. Incase of technical rejection I want to make sure I dont do the same mistake in the next IPO.

Please advise.

As per my views why to take risk my dear even you get same or equal profit thorough grey market also. I had applied 20 in ujjivan and alloted only 4 though i sold all on grey so got 20 * 1050 grey premium per application = 21000 so i think that much earning in just few days without any such risk not a bad idea at all.

Thanks Shyamal. Thats definitely a good option to think about. But I couldnt find info related to selling it in grey market. Can you please provide some details. Also, how is the price of the application determined.
