Before a company files draft RHP, how do we know that company is planning to go for IPO? In case of HDFC AMC, date of filing draft RHP was the cut off date for shareholder quota for shareholders of HDFC. So HDFC shares could have been bought only if we knew in advance that draft RHP of HDFC AMC is going to be filed.

I have 2 trading and DP accounts with different brokerages with same PAN having. I have shares of Ujjivan since 3 months in one of the trading account. I want to apply this IPO, so can I apply as Shareholder category from my 2nd trading account? The reason I want to apply from 2nd trading account is because applying from this is much simplified.

you should apply through shareholder category with the same demat which u hold the ufsl shares...
coz they will have the eligible shareholder list along with demat number

You can apply in both retail and shareholders category from any account.

I think this issue is postponed bcoz of karvy being registrar to issue....secondly it is delayed, so that csb money can be deployed here...

Hope retial quota is not 10%.......if 35% then some allotment is possible to retail investorrs....else usfb will be repeat of csb 30X...
