SBI Cards and Payment Services has filed draft red herring prospectus with capital market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on November 26.

The issue consists of fresh issue of Rs 500 crore and an offer for sale of 13,05,26,798 equity shares by State Bank of India and CA Rover Holdings, an affiliate of US-based Carlyle Asia Partners IV.

Got an email from karvy saying that I am eligible for shareholder category and can apply in the same.

The lead managers to the Issue are Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, IIFL Securities Limited and JM Financial Limited ("BRLMs") and the registrar to the Issue is Karvy Fintech Private Limited ("Registrar to the Issue"). Key details in relation to the Issue are set out below:

Since cutoff date for shareholders is 22nd ... I guess from sep19 shareholding count atleast another 20k will be added ... So even in shareholders quota getting 1 lot will be mostly on lottery basis ... Hope atleast one get 1 confirm lot in shareholders quota ....

As per the RHP date, I am eligible to apply in Share holder category. Shall I make 2 applications with the same PAN 1 is in share holder category & another 1 is in Retail category? Will both the applications will be valid or how?

Thing to observe is even if you apply in two categories it is treated as shareholder category ( you will get discount as well i.e 35 rs and in retails its 37rs )

Incase of maximising the allotment better you apply with different PAN cards .

You can apply 2 lac each in both Shareholder as well as Retail Category - it will not be considered as multiple bids.

SBI CARD DRHP released..might be filed within 1-2 days to RoC..Those who hold sbi bank will get another chance to claim in shareholder quota..
Issue size being large will raise the chances of allotment in RII also..

Around more than 2Years back CA rover brought 2000 cr stake in SBI card from SBI.
Now he is willing to sell his some portion in OFS for arround 5100+ CRs.

This is huge issue, if they price it correctly then there is sure chance to earn money from shareholder portion.

Now there seems to be another confusion as there's a discount in this category. Under shareholders category what can be maximum valid lots allowed? 13 lots or 14 lots?

Who ever bought before or on 20th Nov will only apply in shareholders portion because 20th + T2 = 22nd Nov in your demat account.

RHP is yet to be filled. Hence cut off date 22nd Nov is not correct.

RHP filing date is 22.11.19 and that's the cut-off date.

Yes, pb is 36 to 37, but it's available to shareholders at rs 35/-
