Friends I applied single lot in share holder category of USFB but I again apply for RII category but the same could not go ahead and error occured i.e. you have already applied from the DP ID, it happens from BANK OF BARODA NET BANKING, PLEASE GUIDE ME

If you holds share as on 22 Nov (i.e. bought on or before 20 Nov), you can apply in shareholder category

Seems that it's also going to be 30 to 35X retails, really tough chances of allotment... Kaun kehta he mandi he bhai???

I am applying this IPO through HDFC Securities, I have bought the shares of UFSL on 26th Nov and it is after the cutoff of the shareholder category.
But today i am able to see that the IPO is available for me to proceed for bidding. Where would be the validation if i am not in the shareholder category and my funds may get hold un necessarily.

Any use , Apply 30 Lots in NII category?

Chances of Allottment are better comparing to RIIs.

I have applied 1 lot in Retail and 12 lots in SH category.
Looking at the subscription, it seems SH category will also be over subscribed.
Already 33% subscribed in SH category.
26.5% in BSE
6.5% in NSE

For the sake of newcomers, please clarify:

Should a person under the SH category apply for 1 lot or is there any better if he can apply any number of lots within the maximum for retail category??

When people are mentioning proportionate, in case of over subscription,does it mean everyone will get a maximum of one lot only or for applying more lots there will be a possibility of more than one lot allotment.

Getting confused with complicated terminology of the procedure for allotment.
Please clarify and help newbies

Confusion prevails.

Not clear whether allottment would in the manner meant for RIIs or HNIs, since both the methods are proportinate with little difference.

If you have funds better to apply for more lots.
