Yes if you are applying only 1 lot apply from SH cat. 90% chances are there that u will get the allotment.

As per my knowledge, few banks started checking the rejecting third party and few have not..

I gave my bank online filled up asba form in shareholder category but bank did not find any option so he applied as individual category,so now form will be rejected?i got sms with details.

Allotment process for Retailers and Shareholders is same.. So apply for 1 lot... If u want apply for more than 2Lakhs then Apply in HIN category.. U can Apply 1 lot in Retail and 1 lot in Shareholder category.. It ll be treated as 2 separate applications.

you can apply up to 2L.It is advisable to apply min. 1 lot up to 2L under sh.holder category.

Guys I have 1 doubt.While applying under shareholder quota will the existing shareholders will be allotted the shares on proportionate basis or will the allottment procedure be juust the same as usual lucky draw under IPO.If thats the case then its very bad governance in my opinion from the management.
