I have applied for 6 lots thought UPI and the amount is still showing as the lien amount in SBI Account. I guess, today, they are unblocking the account or rejecting the application on the basis of the technical problems.

what i think we should forget about allotment for today and concentrate about managing funds for sbi cards so as to get confirmed allotment in sbi cards, as it has shareholder and retails changes will be more.
karvy seems to be playing with us and our centiments ? regulatory should take serious steps towards karvy.

I am seeing lot of enthusiasm in USFB IPO. But the allotment will be very less considering the over subscription. Why people are not buying the holding company Ujjivan Financial Services (UFSL) which is already listed. You can buy any amount in UFSL. I know there were some discussions around this topic. Here is my analysis. After listing UFSL will hold 144 Cr shares in USFB. At current price of UFSL this translates to Rs. 29.5 per USFB share. Even considering holding company discount at 30% this translates to Rs. 42. If we are so confident that USFB will be listed at 60 or above UFSL is still trading at a steep discount. Have anybody analyzed this?

There are a couple of mistakes in your calculations. For simplicity, one should do the math on marketcap. Post-IPO outstanding shares of USFB would be about 174.8cr shares. At INR 70 price, this translates into a market cap of INR 12.23k cr. UFSL stake at 82.4% would be worth INR 10.1k cr. At 50% holding company discount about INR 5k cr which is just about 20% higher than the CMP of UFSL.

Thanks for your explanation. But I don't see you pointing to any mistake in calculation except that I have taken 30% discount and you have taken 50% discount. I have taken 30% discount because UFSL has only one business USFB. Worst case USFB shares can be gifted to UFSL shareholders after 2 years which will attract ~30% tax. But even after discounting 50% you still say USFL is 20% cheaper. So the question is why not buy USFL or how much more USFL will raise after the listing. I am only trying to understand the logic here.

friends, if you have got the share allotment the money will be deducted in the account and if you would have configured your mobile number you will get a SMS accordingly.
Money getting blocked or unblocked do not guarantee that you got the allotment, there are times that the amount gets unlocked the next day of the allotment.

Karvy is fraud company. If all Upi and asba application amount unblocked then to whom shares alloted? Do anyone got allotment?

Amount is still unblocked and I dont see any sing of allotment till now, the people money getting unblocked may be because of different reason but not for sure on allotment.
