I have had a pretty bad experience with MAS Serv earlier. I had applied for lost physical shares of a company they manage and it took an eternity n 100s of to n fro communications to finally get hold of the duplicate certificates. Took almost 2 years. They behave like sarkari babus raising objections after objections for trivial nonsensical reasons and take an eternity to respond to any communication.
This when 30 odd companies that I had also lost shares of, their registrar's took less than 30-40 days to complete all formalities...
MASserv was the only one that lingered for more than 2 yrs. Their service is that bad. No surprises that this is happening with USK IPO. Probably they are verifying all applicant accounts individually and rejecting 3rd party applications including of those who have applied through your own non demat bank acc. Or they may be checking to see if all the applicants have put valid nominations in their demat n trading acc n done their kyc n all. All wild guesses but one thing is sure that their service s**ks big time.
