For the consideration of all members:
Logistics businesses at the best of times are difficult to grasp. Especially if they have no customer facing component (Delhivery / Blue Dart have substantial B2C business lines, so they don't face this).

This particular business is more like an integrated logistics solution platform - a Fortune 500 company will go to them and say "we need to find a way to make our automotive parts available across a given country in our factories, warehouses and for aftermarket spare part servicing centres". The company creates an integrated logistics solution to make this happen.

As captured in the RHP, TVS SCS appears to be a pioneer in this field. They are effectively an Indian MNC, serving global clients in this fashion. It's a fairly unique business model that has no like-to-like peer comparison (maybe has elements of TCI, Blue Dart, Mahindra Logistics etc.). Valuation should be seen in that light. Also would like to point out - they don't operate in e-commerce last mile, and thus Delhivery (while tempting) is not a good comparison for them at all.

AS RHP share holding as at 31/3/23 is 36.39 crs but here the same is 40.70 crs shares.

This share is highly overvalued. What is there for investors if the PE and MPS is almost same and PAT is negative in last 3 years. Not even a GMP of 20-30% can save this IPO.

It is a very good bet for 3-6 months
In 2019-20 it was going to bring an IPO of 4500 cr at a Valuation of 18500cr

But due to reduced Valuations , those OFS shareholders are not giving their shares

If PAT margins of 3.5% is considered on a revenue of 13000 cr ( on FY 24 forward earnings)
PAT comes around 455 cr where PE comes around 18 , which is very very cheap

Aur TVS group ka company he , strong parentage

Shayad listing ke bad niche mil jaye par medium to long term me acchhi wealth banegi

Many thought similar for Mankind. Unlike Mankind here retail is just 10%
