Does it make sense to buy Indo-Solar from secondary market post listing? If yes, til what price will it be a buy if Im willing to hold it for long term?
Appreciate your good work and thoughts! Keep the good work up guys! And pls ignore the noise :)
GEM, I am going for Tirupati Inks,Microsec,Vatech,Eros ,Careerpoint at this point of time.My first 2 preferences are Tirupati & Microsec the worst of the companies mentioned here. The trend is for such companies only ,as you know just before the market crashes such companies glow the brightest. Nowadays no rocket science is required for applying to an IPO,any damn IPO will list successfully. We have reaped the dividends by applying to such classic companies like Cox,Jubilant,DB Corp,Persistent,OIL,HMVL etc when IPO market was at its lowest ebb. Now lets maximize the returns by applying to prakash,Tirupati,Microsec etc. My rationale is simple. This companies will not list at discount so we can put a stop loss at Issue price & see the fun.
As per current capacity its utilisation rate is 40% only. Thus it gets nominal returns compared to capacity.
DIC and Micro Inks has several patents for speciality inks
It has none.
Raw material is Crude i dont think until and unless a major crash happens worldwide crude can go below 60$. It may go to 100$ again as it has previously. And if a crash happens demand will fall. It depends on 30% exports of Ink. SO growth may be affected if slowdown happens again in developed world.
Maybe Polyster market can give it a philip
And it may give good returns. If priced at 6 to 8 times PE
industry PE for both ink and polyster currently on a weighted average taking ink at 0.5 and polyster 0.5 weight is 9-10
Lets see. Whats the price band..?
Anyways what do you suggest
Is there something great to invest in it apart from polyster boom for listing gains only...?
SJ, Studied RHP.DIC is the world's largest manufacturer of Inks.Micro Inks is also a multinational but it has delisted its shares. It means it does see great potential in the business.Speciality Inks are used for packaging materials description so it is directly related to FMCG growth & hence consumption. So the business does has a future but main constraint is price of raw materials & the main raw material is crude. Pre Issue its EPS is great but on expanded capital it will be on par with DIC both wrt Book value & PE.Since it is such a small issue there is a great likelihood of it being manipulated.
SJ, There is one other company DIC India which is listed. Its book value is 214 & its trading at 334.Its EPS for trailing 12 months is 31 if we take out one time gain of 25 Crs due to selling of a unit.Tirupati posted an increase of 220 percent profit from 20 lakhs to 65 Lakhs on a revenue increase of 70% for last quarter June10.So thats its history. Now pre Issue its share capital was 35 Lakhs now it will go towards 1.4 Cr.Its book value was 20 till Sep 09.Now its Issuing shares at 41-43.Its listed in DSE.So this is what I know about Tirupati .I sense it may create some magic post listing. So you also check the prospects of Inks business & tell me if you have any idea.
