As i have been reading in various posts...it doesn''t matter whether we apply in the First Slab or the 13th Slab, the allotment depends on the number of forms submitted and that every one would get the 1st slab shares....... Is it true?

Earlier it was on the number of times the shares were o''subscribed.

What is this Forms submitted thing? So now is it more wise to apply in the 1st / 2nd slab?

Since last year SEBI has made new rules for Retail IPO share allotment so that ma applicants in retail are allotted shares

Thyrocare case may be taken as sample

Retail quota is 37.60 lac shares minimum lot 33 shares

Case 1. If 1 lac application are recieved in retail every one will be allotted 33
shares and left over shares will be distributed proportionately to applicants for 2 lots and above

Case 2. If 1.5 lac application recieved the 33 shares by lottery and no one will get more then 33 shares

Thyrocare have recieved around 7 lacs applications in retail so only 33 shares by lottery irrespective of quantity applied for

On same line with HDFC, ICICI announced to come out with IPO for ICICI Prudential life insurance. Likely to come in F.Y2017

What is chance of getting allotment? I apply 1lot

You stand same chance if you apply any quantity 1 lot to full lots.
Better go for 1 lot only to block less fund and stand same chance of allotment with a person applying for full lots say 2lacs

I didnt received any message from BSE or NSE, but when i check my status in BSE it shows my BID DETAILS. I think i will receive msg on monday

My 4 bids got messages and email from BSE, but my 5th application dosen''t get neither sms or mail. What to do? How to check bid status if possible? Please reply

plz provide the exact link of BSE & NSE to check the bid status...

I thing Thyrocare will be list btwn 650-700

I applied fir both ipo on 28april at 7pm by online banking. I got application number online bt didnot receive any msg from BSE which i got at the time of equitas ipo time.
Did i make mistake by applying after 5pm.
