I have trading account with Sharekhan, submitted prefilled application by Sharekhan to Icici bank on 28th eve. But up to now amount not blocked. Also not able to see in NSE or bse bid details. Any having same issue or amount must be blocked upto now?

I have applied for 4 dmat account of my family members. The form no. last digits 2 3 4 5.Does this reduce the possibility of getting allotment. whethe I should ask my broker to give forms of different sr nos.

Now a days, I see ICICI securities being lead manager to most IPOs . If we have DMAT with ICICI or any other broker who is Lead Manager for a particular IPO, Is there a high chance of allotment? I have been applying for 1 or 2 lots from my India Infoline dmat account for many iPOs but not getting allotment. Is it pure luck or having dmat with any of the Lead manager had more chance of getting allotment? ofcourse, Ideally, it should not be the case. However, Im wasting my time and money every time in tracking the issue dates, moving funds and applying. I didnt get allotment in some wonderful IPOs like WonderLa, VRL etc for which I have applied from 3 IIFL accounts. Didnt get even a single lot except for Alkem Labs, SH Kelkar.
Even for Thyrocare, I have applied from 2 dmat accounts of IIFL, but I dont have any hope of allotment with my experience.
Please help me to understand if applying thru any of the Lead managers dmat or applying on day 1 improves chance of allotment. I normally apply on last day.

open savings ,demat and trading account in hdfc bank or sbi or axis bank or icici bank then apply u may get allotment

I remember before 5 to 6 years power grid was listed at 104 against 52 issue price. i.e. 100% premium

If U check basis of allotment of any IPO , more then 90% applications in retail are for 1 lot only . Balance 10% applications are of higher lots due to ignorance of new rules for retail allotment.

Earlier times it used to be 90% higher and 10% for 1 lot .
