Just checked. Allotted 1 lot for my 49 lots x 2 hni app

IN SME IPO IF WE APPLY 2 LOT OR 10 LOT. IN WHICH CHANCES OF ALLOTMENT IS MORE. ANY SENIOR MEMBERS PL REPLY. THOUGH IN MAIN BOARD IPO THERE ARE TWO CATEGORIES SNHI And BHNI

In SME IPO two categories are available for individual s . One category is retail in which u can apply for only one lot. Another category is NII in which u can apply for minimum two lots. In NII category more lots u apply higher chances of allotment. Suppose NII category of SME IPO is oversubscribed 700 times then if you apply for 5 lots u will have 5/700 chance of getting one lot. If u apply for 10 lots u will have 10/700 chance of getting one lot. If you apply for 70 lots u will have 70/700 ie 10 percent chance of getting allotment of one lot. In single application u can apply any number of lots but u can't apply more than NII portion of total offer size

Allotment Procedure in SME IPOs-

-Any amount which is above Rs. 2 lakh will be considered as HNI.

-Allotment Procedure is different from Main Board IPOs. Its Proportionate in SME IPOs.

-There are no Big or Small HNIs in SME IPOs.

EXAMPLE 1 -

HNI ALLOTMENT PROCEDURE IN BOOK BUILDING SME IPOs

-If HNI Subscription is 15 times then apply at least 15 lots to get 1 lot else it will go in lottery

-If HNI Subscription is 25 times then apply at least 25 lots to get 1 lot else it will go in lottery

If HNI Subscription is 75 times then apply at least 75 lots to get 1 lot else it ll go in lottery

If HNI Subscription is 150 times then apply at least 150 lots to get 1 lot else it ll go in lottery

If HNI Subscription is 350 times then apply at least 350 lots to get 1 lot else it ll go in lottery
And So On.....

Calculation of chances under HNI Category in Proportionate Allotment in Book Building SME IPOs:

If HNI subscribed by 500x

-You apply 2 lots then:
2/500x100 = 0.4% chances of getting 1 lot

-You apply 10 lots then:
10/500x100 = 2% chances of getting 1 lot

-You apply 250 lots then:
250/500x100 = 50% chances of getting 1 lot

-You apply 500 lots then:
500/500x100 = 100% chances of getting 1 lot

And So On ...

What is advisable

Apply 20 lot in one pan OR apply 10 lot each in two diff. pan..

If NII category of SME IPO is oversubscribed 700 times then application of ten lots will have 10/700 ie one out of 70 chance of getting one lot. Application of twenty lots will have20/700 chance of getting allotment of one lot

If apply with 15 lot in a single PAN, any rough idea, if got allotment, how many lot allotted to HNI for this PAN? One or two for SME? Seniors please suggest.
