I had updated given both Minor and parent Pan and both are updated in system.

In that case tell ur banker to update child pan on his account no. Earlier same was the case with me too.

[Off Topic] Planning to open a minor account in ICICI (young stars), does it work for anyone? few comments I can see that they are not able to apply IPO via ASBA, since minor PAN is not getting updated.
Please let me know, if it works for anyone

Had to go to the branch to get the PAN updated. It works without issue - have applied ASBA for several IPOs and got allotments in both minor account names @Rajiv RR

I have icici minor account and accounts linked to my account. Minor accounts need to be updated with their pan cards. Asba works after pan updation.
