ok srini friend got it.I have also started applying ipo in 2008 but i have not gain much due to selling on first day but now i have change my tactics
now i am keeping it for few day depending on the equity size so this tactics work for me.Now my profit size is increasing.If you got allotment in career point or eros or even vatech don't sell them on first day keep it for some days.No matter where the sensex is .As the price will increase after initial selling pressure is over in the counter.

confirm allottment (as much as you can buy)
confirm profit (70000 per share as per sj)

So why apply in ipo's where allotment is through lottery and profit is not going to be more than 3000-4000 per application provided you get allotment.
