PCL IS STILL BETTER THAN TEAMLEASE ATLEAST IT IS NOT THAT EXPENSIVE AND IN LINE WITH IT PEERS. ALSO PCL HAS GROWTH IN PROFITS SO WILL SURELY SHOW GOOD IMPROVEMENT IN COMING QTR AND YEARS. TEAMLEASE IS STAY AWAY IPO AT 50 P/E. JUST DIAL HAS BEEN HAMMERED DUE TO EXPENSIVE VALUATION THIS IS STAY WAY IPO . IT COULD HAVE LISTING GAINS IF HEAVILY SUBSCRIBED BUT DUE TO NO LONG TERM GROWTH PROSPECTS AND EXPENSIVE VALUATION IT IS A BIG NO
Apply Tls for listing gain and hold PCL for longterm with a stoppers of 157-60

Marketing guys in dummy names had created hype in PCL and asked investors to apply, and said premium 10-15 ,and now GREY activity is dead , investors are to be very careful in applying Now like the brokers , who tell their clients to buy xyz shares saying it will give 10 to 15 % return ,Then turn their eyes , when the share fall , saying it is good company. target of Rs 850 of indigo achieved today ,and is inching towards 765 , yes it is good company but what is it if you have not sold at Rs 1400 , or at your stop loss of Rs 1250 when it was going down , 30% loss is much IT is your money
share broker are sweet tongued saying Indigo Indigo....now...I say them Go Go.
Company may be good, but its for big heads. For retailers, its a huge loss even for 30 shares, coming down from 1200 to 800 levels..is HUUUUUUGE!

In case of Teamlease ... I am applying ... the rational is simple ... given the hype created around this IPO ... it would be a bumper listing ... but at the same time I am not convinced of the justification of this crazy valuation ... Therefore I do not intend to hold it after the listing day.
One thing I have learned in 25 years in market never go and buy on market gossips buy only if you think value in the stock u may be right or wrong at least u have made conscious decision based on ur analysis

This IPO is a LIFO issue (Last In, First Out) ...
It is for the nimble investors only ... entry at last hour ... after assessing the QIB / NII appetite ... and exit swiftly upon listing ... Basically, this IPO is good to apply for short term punters and not for long term investors ...
Market expects the RII book to be minimum 8-10X ... hence, allotment ratio to RII investors is liekly to be very low

At the upper end of the price band, the TeamLease issue is priced at a PE of 49 times FY2015 earnings per share (EPS).
"Assuming a 30 per cent EPS growth CAGR over FY15-17E, it is priced at 30 times its FY17 EPS. Global listed peers (including Randstad, Adecco) of TeamLease trade at 15.5 times price-to-equity with a median RoE of 15 per cent, operating margin of 5 per cent and PAT of 3 per cent, respectively, compared with TeamLease''s RoE (post issue)/Op/PAT at 16% /1.2% /1.5%, respecti ..

basically even if it grows at 30% and improve margins the issue is expensive at present price forget abt GMP
Which is a better IPO to invest in Quickheal or Teamlease both from short-term (listing gains) and medium term point of views? I wanted to know the view of senior people and other experts here.
I fail to understand why people r applying through net banking. Banks are just custodians of money and summary of shares. Broking houses deal with shares n IPOs. Why should banks provide ASBA facility?
In how many days the refund is expected, is it 6 days ? Can refund from TSL can be used for QuickHeal IPO ?

Road side brokers ie near the place of residance of investors do not have facilities to book IPO , then only buy and sell shares , at low brokerage, HDFC SEC , iciici web trade , sharekhan ,etc are little more costly , and so SEBI has made bank site for investors to apply in IPO , since hdfc bank has Hdfc sec as trading site they ask their clients to open HDFC SEC account , hence you open an demat cum trading account of hdfc sec also same with icici bank may be kotak bank also
Dear Lionbull, I m aware. But was not sure if banking sites through net banking can also give u option to apply through ASBA. Mine is HDFC for both banking n trading n HDFC bank does not provide the ASBA facility but HDFCSec does. Now u can understand better I hope my misunderstanding.
Rajeev Kumar Singh, I can understand your view. ICICI, AXIS, and some others like you said, HDFC have 3-in-1 accounts (trading, dmat, and savings).
But SEBI has listed a of self certified Syndicate Banks and it updates periodically. I can see the HDFC in that list.
Please see this list: http://www.sebi.gov.in/cms/sebi_data/attachdocs/1365051213899.html
According to this, these banks there is no need for 3 in one. Just basic savings a/c will do. These banks have separate registration for ASBA and then it will allow you to apply thro ASBA . I think it has to be in HDFC also even with or without 3 in 1. Sorry, if I had said anything wrong, I just wanted to share the info. I am also a new bee only.
By the way, today the market has fallen. but the anchor support is there for Teamlease. What do you think about Teamlease listing gain. Will it be another cofee day, or will there be listing gain even if market falls?
