By now.. All the amount are either deducted or credited back..

I thought that the new rule by SEBI says minimum lot should be allocated to all the applicants then rest will be distributed proportionally. But how come some people have got more than 1 allotment and some did not get any even applying 5 lot.

In this way allotment seems completely randomized, the more u apply the more you got.

New to IPO market. Experienced can u please clarify this doubt.

It''s waste of time to apply in IPO. For good IPO chances of allotment very poor (10-20%) and in bad IPO high (50-100%).
So 1 wrong IPO like precision may wipe out your effort for past 5-6 IPOs (coz you would have got allotment in only one of past 5-6 IPO).

good analysis.....but smart people do not apply in bad ipo''s......so they do not lose money...they only loose opportunity if they do not get allotment.
