Thank you friends.Regarding SAIL FPO by shorting the future Many people have already made more money than they could make with several applications for the FPO.Today minister of steel has said they may take action against merchant bankers becos they have also managed tata steel fpo.So if the merchant bankers are removed there may be uncertainty regarding the timing of FPO.
Shreedhar, Yes you can apply for other demat Account also. But catch here is the first name is by default has been kept as the username and same can not be edited. You can only enter second name as per your choice. So you must make sure that the first name of the demat account holder must be same as username for HDFC net banking. Hence you can not use is for anybody else. Otherwise it is very user friendly. But I think I do not need this facility (IPO) for at least 6 months from now?? I do not know about U!!.
you have to login in hdfc netbanking with your id and password. After login you need to click IPO application link ( bottom left side ) this will take you to HDFC Sec to apply for IPO.
Can you share SAIL F&O strategy based on current price ?
Dear Friends, I apply for IPOs using Axis bank ASBA.I would like to apply using HDFC bank account .Does it support demat accounts other than HDFC securities & how to link our demat & other procedures required for applying for IPO.Those friends who apply using HDFC ASBA please explain the procedure. Thx in advance.
Tatasteel has not fixed the date of announce of Q3 results. I think they wont announce it till the FPO date is over. But some estimations are already published in ET and moneycontrol webistes. The market is hoping for very good results from them.
Thank you for the information Gem IPO finder and and Ravi Bangalore... :) .

@ Gem ipo finder I visited the site given by you. The site is "just trade" The plan you have chosen does not indicate the total value limits you can trade. How you go about with the limits. I am not a daily trader but am doing trading about five days a month on an average. Will it be termed as business in my case. The trade value however is very high and will exceed the limits of 40 lakhs for audit purpose. This is the first year that I will generate so much trade value. Do I require the accounts to be audited. Overall I am in loss in the trades. Can I carry forward the losses to next financial year. I am basically a long term investor & am holding some shares for more than one year also. As such I have long term & short term losses & gains alongwith trade losses in my account. Pl. advise what is the stretegy I have to adopt for Income tax purpose.
Big positions are not advisable as it is not a liquid stock. It should not constitute more than 5% of your portfolio. Also, you should buy in two or more instalments. In addition, small companies always carry the risk of unforeseen events may bring down earnings sharply. The stock may be bought in small quantities at 14 & 10. This is a call based on technical analysis.
SEL Manufacturing was one of Kotecha's favorites. After what happened with Pyramid Saimira, I no longer trust any small company in which Kotecha has vested interest. I am not sure if SEL Manufacturing's financial statements can be trusted.
