Metal sector is not moving well for the couple of months. There were fears that investors might not invest after SAIL FPO issue, thats why TATA Steel comes suddenly and that to appointing the same merchant bankers. Tatas moved the dots cleverly to collect the IPO proceeds even at the bad time of the market.

i am having doubt regarding the further public issue of tata steel , why it came little bit faster then the others, company filed the red hearing prospectus and immediately date declared with in a week things happened ? something is fishy in that

Can anybody tell me whether one can apply IPO/FPO thru ASBA from diff banks, lets say some lot from SBI and some from HDFC. Is it amount to multiple application and will be rejected ? As per me, if one apply physically as well as thru ASBA, it will be treated as multiple application and will be rejected.

As you have said before, I bought ITNL today @257. I hope this is good price to enter into it.

Thanks for your timely advise. Once I had this shares and sold it. So I did not turn back. After you told me on that day, I started looking into it and bought it today.

Thats my concern. Tata steel is very good for long term. it will reach 750-900 in a year time. But with huge subscription, we will get very less number of shares. As you said, in this way its waste of time and energy to subscribe to this FPO.

Price is a mirage.People apply for it seeing 640-650 but post listing it will come around the Issue price & hence waste of time & energy.From past 2 days metals are facing selling pressure only our hero going up.

As per the gen phenomena- if the FPO price is less than the CMP- people should exit at the current price and plan to enter at FPO, hence price should be down, but how come it is up ? Is it manipulation ?

Anybody ?

One more small IPO - Omkar Speciality Chemicals - is due to open from Jan 24 to 27. Price band 95 to 98.
