I have applied Tata Technologies through SBI Intenetbanking in both category as Individual and Shareholder. However, after submitting both the application look same. I coudnt find any differentiator while checking the application in IPO History tab. Is that fine? Even the e-mail received from bse.ibbs doesnt have any differentiation factor.

Only category is different, it will show SHA for shareholders and IND for individual.

Same issue here, share holder quota and retail quota not mentioned in mail.

Isilye maine iska advantage uthane ke liye jaise-taise funding jama kiya taki sare ipo me FF se apply kar saku.
lekin yaha to sara calculation hi gadbad ho gaya.

Yes, 5 mainboard, 1 sme and 2 buyback offers are oversubscribing at same time. Another 5 sme's are coming between 1 to 5 Dec. Khelo India khelo....

in yes bank not possible to apply both category SH & IND after apply 1st if try 2nd then say you already apply

This is urgent : has anyone who applied by SBI ASBA for shareholders category received IPO bid confirmation email from the exchange?

I have Not received it so far, I applied around 12 noon. But I have received email confirmation from the exchange for Another IPO I applied by SBI ASBA (though I applied it around 1 PM). Creating more tension and B.P.

You will get email in sometime.. TATA Bid from exchange is coming late when compared to other IPO bids.
yesterday I got TATA as the last one.. might be around 12:30 AM in the night.

The systems of every other bank and broker are not designed to handle 5 heavy IPOs at once, as a few glitches are heard everywhere. More than 24 hours later bid details email was received at my end for SBI ASBA as mentioned by other members, waiting is key in such cases.

Can i apply ipo by my friend's upi id from my demant account?

By using all legal and valid method I got only 1 allotment in 2023, despite applying for 22 IPOs.
It's all about luck.
Apna number bhi aayega.

Applying in Tata Shareholder category was a bad strategy considering the response it has received. Even with 13 lots mostly it will be allotment and the allotment will be just 1 lot.
Any day a better option would have been IREDA sHNI application with better chances of allotment and full 2 lacs. I guess most of us missed it.

Dear @jay here even after allotment, if you’re getting shares worth 15000, it is not worth at all.

1:17 please also calculate the return that you may get, 35-40% which will be 75000+.

IREDA was much better option than Tata SH category.

Choosing Tata Tech sHNI and SH category for someone with multiple account was a bad strategy. IREDA @ 83% gains now with so much better chances of allotment was any day better than Tata.

One very basic question, apologies if repeated.

I have 2 demat accounts. I have TaMo shares in my sharekhan but not in Zerodha. Can I still apply from Zerodha from shareholder quota? Please guide

​@Market Advisor Thats not true. Please do not mislead.
You can apply from any demat account if you hold share in tata motors. It doesnt have to be the same demat account. The only condition is that the account from which you are applying should have the same holders and in same holding sequence as the shareholding account, to be eligible. So if both your demat account are in individual name with same PAN you can apply in SH quota from either of the accounts.

ITS 100% WRONG ASSUMPTION.

Those whoever applied between 1 lot to 13 lot will get allotment,
In some category* everyone may** get confirm allotment and in some category* by lottery.

** depending on total subscription

If applicationwise subscription is far more than total lots available, then lottery based allotment for each category* (1 lot to 13 lots), depending upon subscription for each category.

First for each category* total proportionate shares to be allotted will be calculated (ratio), then allotment will be done as per total proportionate shares available for that category*.

So consider if more than 2,10,000 application in 13 lots category*, then lottery basis allotment in every category* i.e. who applied for 1 lot or those who applied for 13 lots, ratio for allotment will be different for each category*.

I do see this if allotment software works in the same way.

Two SH applications will be rejected. You should cancel 1 lot SH application if you want to apply for more lots.

​@jmandevil I am sure there is an option to edit or revise your SH bid from where you applied, either from broker app or banks ASBA system.

Please find out and revise your SH bid, it is possible..

Transfer funds to your other bank Ac and try from there..

Another ASBA will not be supported. What you can do is to either transfer funds to other bank account and then apply BHNI from there or cancel this and apply BHNI via ASBA and SH via UPI as SH can be well applied within limits of UPI

Apply for 13, If you are lucky, u ll get 1 lot.

Both valid. PAN should be same
