Lotwise allotment is not applicable in proportionate basis. One can get 19 shares, 34, 49, 99, etc, etc... as per applications received calculation.
Pl correct me, if wrong.

can some one throw light on allocation process of tata technologies.

In retail its lottery completely
In hni category like shni and bhni its separately followed. Some says proportionate and some says lottery ????

Jus want to know whats the criteria with this tata technologies example so that it would clarify my doubts as well others too ….

And also i applied 108 lots in bhni category. So what are my chances …

​@Satya Jit In oversubscribed ipo, Allotte will get 1 lot in retail and 14 lots (2 lacs) in BHNI (>5x), SHNI irrespective of what is applied.

But in low subscribed IPO you might get more than above

If you see Fedbank, BHNI is subscribed <2x so whoever applied and gets allotted will receive more than 2 lacs worth share as it is subscribed below 5x. They might get mire than 5 to 6 lac worth shares.

No, even at 100 lots level, you would get allotment of only 14 lots, i.e. 420 shares.

Senior member please help me, I have applied for ipo in tata technologie but in employee category (by mistake) and I am not an employee what will happen to my application

It will be rejected.

I have applied 13 lots in shareholder category and 1 in retail.

I'm seriously Not prepared for Non-allotment in both categories, my heart will sink, I will be devastated.....

I firmly believe that you are making fun.
If not, I suggest you to develop some patience and understanding to accept the reality that every applicant will not get the opportunity of getting the allotment. Subscription numbers are not reasonably in proportion to the number of shares available for allotment. Now and then, here n there we enjoy the news of allotment after waiting for a long long period. Please practice the tolerance n patience to face unpleasant situations.

Actually, I want to tell you where my sentiments came from....

It is One thing to get rejected in retail lottery system, which is regular and digestible as such "setbacks" are common, I don't keep Any hope as I consider myself Very unlucky person. LOL.

But it will be All together different hurt and jolt to Not get allotment even in proportionate system with decent allotment ratio. It would be insult of rejection... a hurt which will ruin my mood for weeks...

Hence my bhaavna came out in that post....

But your comments really lifted up my spirit... thanks for it once again dear Chittorgarh family... may this feeling of care and camaraderie for a fellow Indian be always there in our community.

Try to get overdraft account from well reputed banks like icici, hdfc, axis if you wish to use borrowed money for ipo as it will cost you less. Overdraft account charges interest once debited.

But credit card a big no.

Lots of talks going around as 13 lots under shareholders category will be allotted one lot first and then lower lots. So does it mean that TML shareholders who have money to apply for 13 lots will be rewarded but not those who have money for 1,2 lots and apply for 1,2 lots? We are just budding investors fiddling with a lakh or two in secondary market and about a lakh in primary market trying our luck. I thought, just felt, it would be unfair to single lot bidders under shareholders category if the rumoured allotment process does happen and none of the single lot bidders are allotted. If that's the case, can't thet bring retail and nii in shareholders category or just keep min 13 lot bid for shareholder category which will obviously be oversubscribed. This is neither a complaint nor cry baby attitude which you will realise and that would suffice for me. Just an honest question from a budding investor to learn more from you in this market. I would have asked personally from you if I had some way to contact you.

@Vrl ji, if subscription is higher than 13x, then no one will get more than 1 lot. 13 lots application will have 13x the probability of getting a single lot as compared to a 1 lot application.

Till May 2022 NII used to apply for shares worth 1cr, 2cr etc - Single application. Now there is no advantage for individuals in applying for shares worth more than 10.15 lakhs. This is an addition to your comment

SH quota subscribe 29.3 time so 13 lots application chance for allotment?

Technical rejection in sh holder quota will be 40-50%. My guess...

There are very huge chances of allotment in SH For 13 lot applications because there may be so many rejections.
Let's wait for allotment.

I am requesting all boarders for posting allotment status category wise and volume wise so that we can reach in conclusion how allotment has been done. This is my humble request.

I had applied share holder quota on 23rd Nov.on 24th Nov I withdraw the application and reapplied. Will My application rejected?

If I apply in bhni and suppose I get allotment then will I get shares worth 2lakh rs or worth 10 lakh rs?

PS- I am just asking as i dont have knowledge in this regard. Because in retail it doesn't matter if we apply for 1 or 13 lots in case of over subscription as both will get max 1 lot only.

My known buying regularly two scrip one is Usha Martin and second is electro steel casting,he also recommended to me for Thomas Cook before 2 months

Tentative Allotment Chances:

BHNI: 2 out of 21 will get 420 shares

SHNI: 2 out of 75 will get 420 shares

Retail: 2 out of 17 will get 30 shares

Shareholder (Big Rejections are expected) but as per current data:

If you applied 30 shares then 1 out of 29 will get 30 shares

If you applied 390 shares then 4 out of 9 will get 30 shares

*if third party apps get rejected (like EREDA) more than 10% apps will be rejected*

How to calculate this? Please give just one example of any category along with subscription times to make it more understandable ??

Have you considered proportionate basis in SH quota ??
