Shareholder quota Allotment :

Proportionate means:
1. ALL applications with 13 lots (maximum lot application) will be considered first for allotment of 1 lot.
2. Thereafter, applications with 12 lots will be considered for allotment, and then applications with lower number of lots.

This is my personal view and I may be wrong, but this is what proportionate allotment means..👍🙏

Anyone please share in this group, how share holder subscribtion was rejected?

Shareholder subscription application rejection reasons

1. Applied in shareholder quota, but not holding parent co. shares in demat as on record date. In this case not holding Tata Motor / DVR shares as on 13th Nov 2023 (which must bought on or before 10th Nov 2023)

2. Applied in shareholder quota more than max lots permissible (in this max 13 lots)

3. Applied multiple applications in shareholder quota.

4. If UPI mandate not accepted before 5pm on last day (if applied through UPI)

5. Other technical reasons, i.e. submitted at last moment but delay by broker in submitting application or any other technical reasons.

Applied 11 retail lots. In regular retail category.
Not used share holder quota.

What's the chances of allotment.
Can i expect one atleast?

I think, you should have applied for 13 lots in shareholder quota, that would have given you maximum chance.
The 11 lots that you applied, is it in 1 application or 11 different applications? If it is in 1 application then the chance will be equal to applying for just 1 lot, which looks very slim.

For oversubscribed issues, applying more than one lot does not help as you will max one lot only

I think allotment in 1st chance SH QUOTA,who applied 13 lot they got 1st allotment and left SH quota 2nd chance after all allotment process continues

As per my calculation, those who have applied 13 lots in shareholders category has 45% to 52℅ chances of allotment based on number of rejections. And those who have applied one lot in shareholders category has 3.5℅ to 4.5℅ chances.

Consider rejection, it will be around 55-60% minimum for 13 lots.

Almost 50% is without rejection itself.

Expectation is 20-30% rejection. 55-63% easily.

​@Binit mondal If sh holder subscribe 15x after technical rejection then your chance will be aprox 1/15 for 1 lot.
Someone who applied 2 lots will have 2/15 chance aprox for 1 lot.

Absolutely not if you had tata motors (or dvr) shares in your demat on 13th Nov.

Your chances of allotment is roughly 5%.

Information for allotment in shareholder category:

Ye category me allotment proportionate hoti hai.

Iska matlab ye hai ki yaha pe 13 category hogi. 1 lot, 2lot, 3 lot....12 lot, 13lot

Ab jis category me jitna share apply hua hai uske hisab se wo category me shares allotment hoga.

Example: man lo ki 13 lot category me 1 lakh application ayi hai and sab valid hai, to 390*100000= 3900000 itne shares 13 lot category me apply hue hai.

Ab TATA me total applied shares 17,76,55,920 hai. Man lo ki sab valid hai. To applied shares ka abt 22% shares 13 lot category me apply hue hai.

Ab total reserved shares 6085027 hai. Iska 22% 1338705 hota hai.

Sab ko 30 share milenge. Means 1338705/30 = 44623 lot 13 lot category ke lie honge.

So here, 44623 ppl wil alloted 1 lot out of 100000.

In short, jitna % shares 13 lot category me applied hua hai, utna allotment ratio 13 lot category me ayega.

As of now, we don't know how much shares applied in each category. So all calculation for this category may be wrong.

Just like SME ipo More Lots More Chances.

This calculation seems more complicated than the Duckworth Lewis method 😜😜😇
