I don't think it has any significance sir ... becoz for my minor account sometimes I wrote prostocks and sometimes sunlight broking ... with both diff names I got allotment too ... what I feel matters is dp Id and client Id... write that properly ...

Try verifying your IPO bid on NSE with respective Application ID to check the details.

Yes bank ASBA easy to apply but only through Netbanking, not allowed on App. Cutoff 3pm last day. Funds release around 12 noon. Some bank asba results messages come out early but never for Yes bank 😀

​@sdz thanks for the reply.. how to open linked fd to apply ipo in yes bank?I heard they dont break fd in applying ipo. How is their internet bank? Have you ever faced problem in applying apo on last day close to 3 pm?

​@Ayank My experience with Yesbank is good. Many times money unblocked same time as ICICI, always before SBI. Yes, you can use their linked fd for applying in IPO.

​@sdz You can apply IPO using Yes Online app. Not from their iris app.

Thank you @MVP @sdz  just wanted to know how to open linked fd? Can i link fd to saving account while booking online? Or after opening fd I have to link with saving ac? Actually I was using Indusind bank linked fd to apply ipo. It was working fine from last 1 year but in Tata tech ipo they broke all my and family members fd with penalty and interest depreciation. I suffered a big loss in it.

@MVP… i use Yesbank App and not their iris App. I dont see asba or ipo in the App to apply

​@Ayank Just tick on the sweep fd radio button while creating FD. You can convert normal FD into sweep in FD also. Just go and try it's easy.

An example of the proportionate basis method for allocating securities in a new issue could be when a company is issuing 500 shares in an initial public offering (IPO) and receives applications for 1,000 shares from investors.

According to the size of each investor’s application, claims will be distributed to them proportionally in this situation. The number of shares allotted to an investor who applied for 100 shares would be 50 (i.e., 100/1000 x 500).

A second investor who requested 200 shares would be given 100 shares (i.e., 200/1000 x 500) if they asked for 200 shares. This type of allocation ensures that each investor receives an equitable portion of the securities being offered based on the quantity of their investment.

I also agree completely. Even if we consider T+3 then listing could be on Wednesday and allotment should be out by Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Yes ..you are correct..same problem I am facing..I started the account opening procedure around 12 days back and shared all documents of my daughter with them.. however in between they called me and informed that their rules are changed and now guardian also needs to open his account with them in order to open minor account.. though my son's account is already with them but now they are insisting to open my account with them.. basically taking advantage as prostocks is very famous in this forum for minor accounts...
