Ask auto will be declaring their results on 1st of December, my question to all senior members, how the results would be and is it a good idea to add and hold ask auto for long term?

I am not expecting for any allotment to me and for that reason watching forthcoming issues if any, suitable to apply. IREDA=0/4 - Retail, TATA=0?/10 - SH, 0?/13 - Retail and Gandhar Oil = 0?/6 - Retail. Waiting for message of unblocking, may come tomorrow late night or day after tomorrow. Though, I shall post my message in this forum about my fate result i.e. zero or a few.

@S P Dhua.. Sahab.. We will eager to know your allotment status in Tata tech.. Although nothing is certain in share market.. Weather primary or secondary market.. But my so many years primary market experience says..you must get atleast one allotment in Tata tech.. It may be in retail or share holder catagory.. That's time will tell.. I agree that there will be lot of rejections in shareholder and employee category due to lot of misunderstanding.
Specially for employee category, RHP text reads that "share holder can bid in shareholder category employee category". This line is only for Employees and not for Non-employees, so that employee can bid in 1. Retail/HNI 2.Shareholder and 3. Employee.
But this made many non-employees(who are shareholder) got confused, and they bid in shareholder as well employees. They(people) didn't considered that they must be an employee of the company. Newbies!!

Yes I am tata motors shareholders and initially confused with mail received from tata motors. I thought I am eligible for employee category too but thanks to experts present here, they told me the real meaning of that mail.

​@investormahesh Aapke SBI card se yaad aaya I too applied for it by ASBA but "thanks" to my bad luck I did Not get allotment in this poorly subscribed IPO too and it listed in discount if memory is serving me right.

4 0ut of 9 ireda, 2 out of 9 ask, 1 out of 9 protean and the list goes on ......its all lotterty.....all else we think is illusion

Dont keep high expectation for allocation, every body knows our market is purely manipulated and ipo allocations are given to special people only. Irctc ipo allocation was also given to people who offered mithai ka dabba

I got 3 lots in irctc out of 7 applications. I did not offer anyone mithai ka dabba. It is pure luck with some preferred allocation to near dear one.

In valiant L IPO there was one BHNI application for 1050 lot (1050 retail lots or 110,250 shares. One application for 1010 retail lots and so on. Similar things in most of other mainboard IPO s. Not only in BHNI but even in SHNI people apply for 50, 60 etc retail lots knowing well that they won't get more than 14 lots. I guess most of these are operators who may be applying on 2nd day or before 12 noon on 3rd day. There purpose may be to attract such persons who apply in IPO after seeing high over subscription

This is the only method to get subscribe an ipo by some operators in most of occasions.

Great manipulation by Linkintime.
Even though SEBI has mandated T+3 listing but ultimately, Linkintime has got solution for this as well and are trying their best to keep all IPOs end/close date on Friday itself, so that they will get extra two days to finalize allotment and if there is any holiday, like today, it is a win-win for them.
Ultimately looser in all scenarios, are IPO applicants.
In nutshell, it is just for the name sake T+3 but ultimate, listing will happen based on T+6/5...

​@Sandapaul ji, leveraging for trading and investment is legal under current laws. From lender's perspective, when there is demand / opportunity for certain type of product, then they oblige by providing supply.
I myself have never obtained IPO funding, but I don't see anything wrong with it. If someone doesn't have the means, but is willing to take the incremental risk (of fixed interest cost), who are we to point fingers?
Current situation of 6 simultaneous IPOs is a classic case in point when people would have opted for funding.
