Dear members,Is it ok if I apply for 13 lots in SH category and one lot in retail category.Someone may kindly clarify.

Is there anyone who was holding TM shares in one demat account and applied for SH category from their second demat account with same PAN.

Myself....I got allotment in SH category....TML share is in Sharekhan's Demat Account, whereas I applied from Zerodha....

There might be few non allottee as well but that should be just based on luck and not technically rejected 🙏

Hi Community;

I applied for more than 500 lots as bHNI at max price (500). But I did not get any allotment. What is the reason behind this?

My understanding was that if number of applied lots is more than subscription times then atleast 1 lot will be allotted. So I was expecting 7 lots considering 70 times bid in bHNI.

There is no proportionate allotment in mainboard IPOs. Here, the allottee is selected based on the lottery only from the fellow applicants at that lot category and hence, same allotment probability as any other lot category. However, the probability can be zero if sufficient applicants are not there to make that lot category eligible for lottery as they say 'its lonely at top'.
Not a wise decision...

​@Owais Naik Contact your bank, if possible physically. Give them all the details in writing, address the application to branch manager, take acknowledgment. Email the same to that specfic branch email ID and cc to registrar..

Sharing my example
We as a family started subscribing IPOs I 2017(dmart)
Often applied 4 to 8 applications and got allotment but in perticular account (mine)
I got nothing much till 4 years
Everyone in my family called me UNLUCKY
I was frustrated though we as family earning money always
Suddenly one day (2021) we switched bank accounts from bob to IDFC

And guess what!!!
I was alloted many many more allotments
Very much more than my other family members

Now I m not feeling UNLUCKY

There was no problem with my older bank but somehow I was not receiving from that bank or may be that time or luck not favouring me

It happens
Try something new, change bank or change broker or change UPI to asba, check kyc
Chang up side down
On one fine day you will be happy 😊 ever after

Anyone got allotment such type of applied applications.

I said in which demat account shares are there from that account only apply .
But some people defer with me.

Yes. Got allotment like this

Got 3/3 SH (applied full lot ie 13lot)
Got 0/4 SH (applied 1 lot in 3 different demat and 3 lot in other demat)

No Allotment for 2 BHNI Applications aggregatig to 10,050 shares.

(Shareholder 13 Lots) 4/8

So 120 Shares in hand.
Confused as to how many to hold ?

Sold 60 and you get your capital and hold remaining 60 for long term for multiply return

Those spreading incorrect info about shareholders Quota. This is for you:

I applied 30 applications from 30 demats for 13 lots in SH Quota.

I got 13 application in SH Quota. (Ofcourse I wanted more) but this is more or less in line with the expected ratio.

And yes, the allotment is on proportionate basis.

I got 1/7 (13 lots application) in share holder quota...far less than average

Anshuji.. Even I got less than average in SH Quota.

But please understand, it's finally lottery based on proportionate category.

Some members got 2/3 in SH Quota. That was their luck. But at the end of the day those who applied 13 lots have got more than those who didn't.
