Dear Experts,

Kindly share on TCS buyback expected price and strategy.

If you have TCS already in your portfolio then you should apply for buy back.

If you want to purchase TCS at current price for buy back offer then it is not a good idea.

In 2022 buy back, many people including myself suffered a loss in the same due to fall in TCS price and acceptance ration was too low.

Hope this is common thinking of all others who had burnt fingers in the same.

TCS is having free cash of about 15000 cr. If they fix buyback price at 4500 as done last time they may buyback about 1% of equity roughly 3.5 cr shares. Any how buyback quantity may be about 1: 10 with minimum buy back from each member will be 1 as was the case earlier. Fresh buying of 1 or 2 shares in each account at the current levels of 3600 may give some gains. This is my personal view. Comments from others are welcome.

Why not everyone buying currently tcs share, when they know that they will get good profit to sell in buy back. Is it share purchased till a certain date are are considered for buy back? What is that last purchase date of share which considered as buyback?
I am TCS employee, is there any special advantage i get of this buy back process?

Long-term ke liye kar sakte hain.
Operators bahut hoshiyaar hote hai. Retail SHNI- ka Maal khane ke baad hi Chalaayenge.
OFS ke baad ₹1-2 upar Market mein hi mil jana chahiye Jaise RVNL - SJVN Hua.
Yeh meri Personal Vichaar hai.
Aage kya hoga Bol nhi sakte Stock market mein.

As far as this OFS is concerned, today's closing of HUDCO is 90.00. So difference of 11.00. Tomorrow opening and closing of this share need to be observed. Open in negative at least 5% to 7% is for sure.
52 week h/l 96/35 both this Oct. and last year's Oct. on BSE. Why this big difference. Actually all PSUs are very positive now. May be a strategy.
In my opinion for short term it is not good apply. For medium to long can decide afterwards. Better options are also available.
Floor price declared after closing. I am holding IPO allotted shares. Holding many more PSU IPO shares also. Now giving good chance to exit, except Defence related PSUs.
My preference will not to apply for me.

For today not attractive at present. Tomorrow afternoon at 14.40 OFS price and market price need to be compared. No in present in my opinion.

@KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA ji, I would really appreciate it, if you could shed a bit of light on the price at which the retailer should participate in this OFS.

I believe that you have already gone through the view of PKRAJ Sir. Floor price for retailers may be more than Rs.79/- in any case. CMP is around Rs.81/-. Where is the attraction to participate in the said circumstances? Let us take a final decision at around 15:20, if there are any favourable conditions at that time.

I faced the same problem bcoz of special characters.
Just visit your home branch & contact ASBA department & tell them to remove special characters from HUF …..
mine problem was solved within 3 working days but I missed RR Kabel IPO from that account
Now I m able to apply

Bro I have inquiry about huf account to open in aixs bank and already I am using my and my wife net banking but today I went to branch to open huf account employee said me that huf account is not giving net banking use net banking of krtha (my individual netbanking) but I can't to change of ipo section while apply ipo due there will show my pan card and details so please any person know about this please clarify about I want to apply ipo mine and huf individual

If the idea is to fund IPO

IDFC FB doesn't have auto sweep facility (it seems they are offering for seniors only)
If u want to fund IPO in ASBA through FDs then INDUSIND, HDFC, ICICI etc will be better.
Like for Indusind FD/s linked to saving.... When u apply for IPO, it blocks the funds from FD/s without breaking it and the money will be sweepin from FD/s on allotment else unblocked in same FD/s. However ,you will not get interest for days when amount was blocked for IPO

Kaynes keep in portfolio for ur son. Ur son can gift this to his son.... Wealth creation in making.. Don't sell single penny. You can also initiate fresh buy, but let it first consolidate... Now it moving like bullet train.

​@Amit Chheda Sir, at what price one should enter for the fresh buy of Kaynes?

Small caps run 80-100% but they equally fall 40-50%. So ideally this is not right time to buy as risk will be lot. This scrip havent seen any correction yet. The numbers are showing growth but its all factored in i beleive.
Another possibility is price may hover around untill earnings catches up.
So according to personal risks one shld wait and add bit by bit and not all at once.
Ps, I hold from ipo price.
