Why is it added so soon here if there is still about a month to start IPO?

Now not even a single IPO is on the list to start. Only 2 SMEs are on list to start. In these circumstances the members might be feeling frustrated. Cold War in the mind!!
In view of this one combo of shares :
BSE and MCX need some attention of the members. Many might be following these. As both these shares I am holding from IPO allotment, I keep watching regularly. BSE given 2 bonus share against one share held. Buy Back not successful due to market price more than 35% or so.
Again and again touching 52 week high both. Need some study at personal level.
Take your own decision because at present at considerable high.

Is there 100% guaranty that 1 share is accepted

In the last buyback I remember minimum 1 share got accepted from each shareholder who tendered their shares. Thereafter from Retail shareholders they accepted 1 share for every 7 shares. I don't know whether the same procedure will hold good this time too.

Yes, very high chances, i always do in most of the high price share buybacks and all were accepted yet, recently participated in Indiamart, most of the people were saying will not be accepted but gradually accepted from all of my accounts.

L&T buyback at 3200, since promoters are buying back at 3200 is that means stock price will go high. How to analyse these buybacks wrt company future growth

No promoter and company is not same.

Consider company as an individual whose decisions are made by promoters or BoD.

Cash in companies book is not promoters cash same way debts of promoters are not companies debt.

Promoters are the investors in the company. They are the owners of the company and have the right in profits of company. Promoters hold the shares of a company. Anyone can be a promoter of the company, its not necessary that a promoter is a directors.

Directors are the managers of company who manage the day to day operations of the company. It is not necessary that the directors are the promoters of the company.

Plus in the case of L&T, it is a professionally managed company as L&T does not have any promoters.

What a co-incidence and fiasco who lost in first buy back (4000 to 2900 price movement)! I hope story won't be repeated for this time as it looks like it won't!

Results season going to starting with IT majors

I have around 200 share of TCS and would like to transfer to family members Zerodha account (6 accounts i have) to avail buyback offer so Account should not have above 2 lakh share.
There are two options for to transfer share, which one is recommended between below?

1. Shares can be transferred as gifts. See How to gift stocks
2. Shares can be transferred using CDSL Easiest

If anyone buy tcs share at current level to sell in buyback offer, how he may expect loss?
Is it because it may be a lottery/proportionate basis for buy back and share he bought may not be executed fully or executed partially only during buyback?
So after buyback offer share may goes down and he will add loss?

AR for Last 2 large buybacks was more than 80%.. wipro 80%, L&T 100% for retail.. AR for TCS may be more than 70% this time if price movement and bb price comes close.. last time, tcs buyback was bit impacted by Ukraine war.. chances of loss may be less this time..let's hope for the best..

This is because the share to buyed back are limited under general category. And due to news of buyback ,share already runs 5-6% thus reducing your profit per share if you buy at cmp. And generally speaking after buyback share price tends to fall. Last time tcs had a fall from 3700 to 3200
Another reason is the more the crowd the less the acceptance ratio of shares. Last time this was 20% afair. This is not at all profitable for those who buy shares at time of announcement.
However if someones has shares from a much lower price, he/she must participate in buyback since there is much cushioning if price falls after buyback.
We can never know the acceptance ratio, we can just speculate a range of it

TATA tech is a big ipo ..and till date in past IPO BHNI maximum bids approx is 55000
So my question is ....is availability of BHNI slot in tata ipo is going to exceed This figure of 55000

What sectors or companies do we need to watchout in purview of israel war. I understand it's still too early to predict, but still.

What all stocks/sectors can be beaten down and what all sectors even though doing well will be beaten down due to domino effect that we can buy?

What all themes will playout in context of this war and how all of us can benefit from it? Should conservative investors just buy niftybees and play the safe game

What all things we should avoid doing completely (ex: shorting, etc)

What can be a good level to buy or what good/bad news can start uptrend? acc. to my understanding generally when all the bad news is out, market is ready to move upwards

All suggestions from all types of investors new and old ones are encouraged. People in this forum are of diverse background and thinking and sometimes a seasoned investor might miss out certain theme and a healthy discussion over here might give us some direction to think/research.

Some of the Indian companies invested or having operations in Israel are TCS, Infosys, wipro, techmahindra, LTTS, adani port & SEZ, IOL, sun pharma, Ola electric, etc.. but these companies are very reputed, the war may have impact of max 5 to 10% downside, but not more..

ISRAEL MARKET ON BLOOD BATH!!!
