I don't understand any point of comparison with LIC IPO!
Business model, sector, ownership, size of issue, everything is different. This issue will most likely be smaller than JSW Infra IPO in fact.

After demerger, one equity share of HDFC Bank has been credited to my demat account. At the time of demerger, HDFC's share value was near Rs. 2400, and HDFC Bank's share value was near Rs. 1600. I have not gotten refunds for different amounts in my bank account. Kindly guide me on what to do in the above-given matter. If possible, give an email ID or contact number for the above-mentioned issue.

According to merger ratio of 25:42, you were entitled to 1.68 shares of HDFC Bank, which translates to 1 share and monetary compensation for fractional component i.e. 0.68 shares, which should be somewhere around Rs 1100-1110.
I have received this fractional compensation yesterday in 2 of the 3 accounts I had HDFC in. So, you should get it in next week.
If it doesn't happen, you may write to Link Intime (RTA of HDFC Ltd) at rnt.helpdesk@linkintime.co.in citing your DP ID and Client ID.

Can we apply shareholder category as well as retail category together????

I am a newbie, so please correct me if i am wrong. In this IPO,
SH and retail combined should not be more than 2 Lakhs.
SH (upto 2 lakhs) and SHNI above 2 lakhs
And SH (upto 2 lakhs) and BHNI above 10 lakhs.

Is the chances of getting more lots increases when I will be applying say 10 to 12 lots in shareholder category 🤔 or is it same like retail category that is whether we apply for 1 lot or 14 the chances of getting allotment will be same ??

Proportionate allotment in SH category means the bigger the application, the greater the allotment probability and allotment.

Addendum in DRHP not RHP. So need to hold Tata motors share till RHP is filed to become eligible shareholder

Considering the brand name it will be difficult to get allotment. Maybe thats why hni are grabbing whatever they can.
For such issues there is literally zero risks since you could keep for longer term even if you stuck at higher price.

I was expecting IPO coming at 460~
But it's coming cheaper
So it's PE coming at around 23

IPO size an be around 3866 cr

But if The selling stake is reduced from Shares offered Via IPO ( OFS ) Issue size can be reduced to 2252 cr which is very obvious

So it's happy as well as sad that we will witness stronger than expected listing gains but allotment chances will be reduced

16300÷100×13.7= 2233.1 cr.

At 16300cr valuation expected share price around 400 Rs . FY23 profit 708 cr than EPS comes at 17.45 so PE 400/17.45= ~23 while its closest listed peer is KPIT which is trading at PE of 78. So valuation are very cheap in comparison to its peer. So big listing gain can be expected if the valuation remains the same.
