Sorry, if this is a repeat query but I could Not believe what I am reading as I was not aware of this is possible. Hence seeking clarification.

So I am a Tata Motor shareholder :

So can I apply in "shareholders quota" as well "retail quota" with The "same" demat and PAN account for Tata Tech IPO??

Is is Possible? Will both application be considered separately by registrar for allocation??

It is a pre IPO process when a company wants to come up with an IPO. It has to file RHP with SEBI the regulator..

But If Q2 Results are outstanding then it can head up move.

But I would recommend to exit on small bounce , if If you have a long term perspective then can definitely hold

@Samudrika ji, if SH quota gets subscribed 10x then every applicant will get shares worth 10% of the amount bid for, subject to some min qty, probably 1 lot.
Suppose you put in a bid for just under Rs 2 lacs, then you will get shares worth around Rs 20k.

Proportionate allotment means a 2L applicant will always have double allotment (or double probability of allotment), irrespective of subscription.
This is to the best of my knowledge and experience. However, some questions will best be answered only when RHP is filed.

You shall have 1/10 probability. So, its entirely luck factor. Proportional allotment does not happen in true sense. Its very difficult to get allotment in both HNI as well as Retail nowadays with such high subscription figures. You make more money buying post listing like in JSW.
