If the shareholders category is gonna be heavily oversubscibed, how will it help by applying the maximum no of lots? It will anyway be given proportionately which would be 1 lot at Max. Correct me if I am wrong.

Ye to almost confirm hai log tata tech me hi Sara pesa lagayege, except few who have limitless money. Abhi iske chakkar me Fedbank, and Gandhar se achaa profit na rah jaye. Can anyone suggest if we can go open market for Gandhar and Fedbank.

All are hitting together

But yes , 3 out of 4 are big size and big ticket IPO'S where Allotment will be relatively easy

Any Senior member please clarify:
1)SH category is proportionate basis or lottery basis??
2)If proportionate basis how will be the allotment preference??
Example:1)
1st person applied 1lot(15k)
2nd person applied 13lot(2lac)
Who will get 1st preference for
allotment (or) both of them treated as same or not??
Example 2:)
Suppose SH required applications= 20k
There r 20k application who applied 13lots will get all the allotment or not??
If this is done is there any sense to apply 1 or 2 lots in SH category?? Tqq🙏🙏

Depends on oversubscription. if os is say 20 times then person with one lot will have 1 out of 20 chance of getting one lot and the person with 10 lots will have 1 out of 2 chance of getting 1 lot.

SH catagory allotment will b as follow :
Applications of 13 lots will on proportionate if catagory subscribed below 13 times Application Wise (SH Applications).
Applications of 13 lots will be on lottery basis with allotment of minimum 1 lot if catagory is oversubscribed by more than 14 times application wise (SH applications).
Applications of 1 lot totally will b on lottery
Chances of allotment very low as issue will oversubscribe heavily.

AWL IPO SH kota had no limit of 2 Lk.
in application for investors
But TATA TECH has fixed a limit below 2 Lk
for Share Holder
That is the difference between the two
So allotment chances for 13 lots Application in TATA is more than AWL.

There is only shareholder quota, no subparts of different shareholders to it. And while calculating sh quota, your shares under the pan are clubbed irrespective of different demats they are present
