Dear All members please help if i buy 1 share of TCS then will it be 100% accepted in buyback ? Your reply will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Last buy back of TCS was in mar 2022. Acceptance ratio was 24-26%. But for those who had less than 10 or 15 shares acceptance ratio varies a lot. Those who had 1 to 7 shares and surrendered all shares in buy back 1 share was accepted. Those who had 8 to 12 shares 2 shares were accepted. Those who had 13 to 16 shares 3 shares were accepted. So if you have 4 to say 15 shares then there is possibility of your actual acceptance ratio being less than acceptance ratio decided by TCS. Because actual number of shares accepted is rounded off to lower digit.

I am not saying this time also acceptance ratio will be same 25%. Buy back window will close around 2nd week of December. At that time if TCS share price is around 4000 (very optimistic) then acceptance ratio can be very high like 80 or 90%

There are minimum lots in each category: Retail (1 lot), SHNI (14 lots), BHNI (67 lots) etc. If allotted, will we get those many lots of respective category? For eg: incase of SHNI will we get 14 lots or 67 lots incase of BHNI. Appreciate your help.

If Allotted and every category was oversub. then -
Retail - 1 lot
sHNI - 14 lots
bHNI - 14 lots (the remaining approx 8lac will be unblocked)

If apply in Retail = 1 lot will be alloted
If apply in Small HNI = 14 lot will be alloted
If apply in big HNI = 14 lot will be alloted (probability of allotment will be 5 times high than SHNI)

All shareholders who have not got confirmation mail,please do not worry.
The process is going on,every eligible shareholder will get mail mentioning your DP id in which you have shares.

1.TATA Technologies ( Going FF )
2.Gandhar Oil ( Going FF )
3.Flair Writing Industries ( Going FF )
4.IREDA (Going HF - If allotment is confirmed then will apply more )
5.Fedbank Financial Services ( Will Likely Avoid , No point in applying here , If Something unexpected happens then will think but 70 % Avoiding )

Also Gandhar and Flair has equal weightage
Anyone can interchange as per their convenience
Remaining 3 will be The same

People say FF here in the forum, without telling what is FF for them. So I feel that's misleading.

For example: 2 Retail lots could be FF for someone.. while 50 BHNI could be FF for someone.. so better to define what's FF. 🙏

Anyone who have recently used kotak funding for ipo as it was not active from 2-3 months in the recent ipo is it active or not?

I also have saving account in kotak but never seen kotak funding option active, have ever used it in past?

I have account in angel one and when i apply in ipo through Asba mode they ask for three things
1. DP Name
2. DP Id
3. Beneficiary A/c no

​@Shivay IPO Beneficiary A/C No. is DP ID + 8 Digit Client ID, so in total 16 digits

​@Shivay IPO bhai, new members aren't allowed attachments.
Anyway, as guided by @MuStrFc bhai, first eight digits will be your DP ID i.e. 12033200, next eight will be your client ID.

I have joint account in Canara bank with my wife. Can i apply 2 applications one with my wife dmat account and one with my demat account? Is there gonna be any issue? @experts pls guide

Both of you can apply if both PANs are submitted for account opening . You can go to Canara bank net banking Invest- ASBA. Both account holders will be listed .You can select each account holder and respective PAN will be listed. Then manually enter demat details and apply.

Understand, eligible share holders of Tata Motors have been communicated through e-mail by Tata Technologies regarding SH quota provisions. What if this e-mail is not received despite holding shares of TaMo on 13th Nov? Does that mean such applicants will not be considered for SH quota?

20-22 times maximum

20-22 times means 20 * 6000+ = 120000 application ... highest i remember is close to 1 lakh application ... and again with too much IPO's on same day ... equation may change ... lot of possibilities ... personally i expect 16-18 times some bHNI applicants may also opt for sHNI since too much ipo at one go ... so bHNI application will be better option if one has that capacity ... it may max go for 5 times app wise ...

Ideally you should be eligible as the shares are debited next day i.e. 14 Nov, from Demat account.

After that confusing email....

Who send mail for share holders quota and how many days before they send mail?

U should receive email today or tomorrow. Please check bulk/ spam folder of email. If you are sure that u had at least one share of Tata motors on record date u can apply under shareholder category even if you didn't receive email. On record date Tata motors share must be in your demat account and not in broker account
