Assuming Tata Technologies subscription, retails = 6 times, sHNI = 18, bHNI = 24.

For Tata Technologies, If I have a capital of up to 15 lakhs, then how should I plan to apply to get a high chance of allotment with 6 PAN?

1.      Retail of 13 Lots * with 6 PAN account = Rs. 11.7L
2.      sHNI of 14 Lots * with 6 PAN account = Rs. 12.6L
3.      [bHNI of 67 Lots * with 1 PAN account] + [Retail of 6 Lots * with 5 PAN account] = Rs. 14.55L
4.      [bHNI of 67 Lots * with 1 PAN account] + [sHNI of 14 Lots * with 2 PAN account] + [Retail of 1 Lot) * with 2 PAN account] = Rs. 14.55L

Also

If you buy shares worth of 15 lacs at 70% gmp in pre open.of tata tech.. You'll have more profit in 2 sessions as compared to allotment of 1 shni lot, that's how good the ipo vibe is.

Hi All. I was seeing an existing IPO in my hdfc securities app. It shows 'NRE Retail' and 'NRE HNI'.

1) For Tata Tech IPO, will we see similar options or there will be more options ?

2) If only these two options appear, then once we apply in HNI category - how will we know we have applied for SHNI or BHNI category ?

Can we buy tata technologies shares after the listing ?? Because it looks very difficult to get allotment..

​@Ashish Macwan  Allotment will be difficult but still try applying,. If you are not alloted then funds are unblocked before listing day and you can buy shares on listing day anyway but will not get the listing gain. So no harm in applying and trying your luck unless you want to try it in some other parallel IPO's with same funds.

13 lots under SH quota plus 1 lot in retail in 4 demat accounts. Only 1 lot retail the 5th demat account.

You can use the balance remaining funds to apply under retail category for other IPOs closing on 23/24 Nov

Where is more possibility of allotment,
13 lots in retail or 14 lots in S-HNI?

If you still apply under retail category apply for 1 lot only. There is no point in applying for more than one lot in one application under retail category in such IPO s where retail category is likely to be oversubscribed (application wise). Retail category of this IPO will certainly be oversubscribed

The thing is i have one savings account with hdfc bank
So if i bid in both categories under SH and BHNI with same bank account will it be valid

So even if say 15 lac member applied with average 7-8 lot then subscription might go above 50x, as in shareholder category ~2 lac applications with 1 lot will be allotted
