Please leave PM and politics aside. For any game or in real life scenario, we should retrospect and drastically improve on certain items after investigating why we failed whatever we do! I would like to extend this topic because it can happen in real life as well and not just in Cricket.

1. This time we are extremely sad because we got certain team all out in less than 100 runs and we hit 350 runs in batting but this time low score 240 only. We never lost any match in WC 2023 but we failed in final which is equal to we didn't do well in league matches as well. We had deep weakness which we failed to identify and had always fear that we may fail in semi or final.

2. Consistency, individual performance and overall team performance is more important because 75% batsman/bowler/fielding failed when needed. Overall failure should not go beyond 30% otherwise there would be high chances that we loose the match. Do you know we played bad than South Africa, there atleast one player batted well but for us, no-one played and made mistake like before. Wicket was so important but we removed slip after 3rd wicket, Siraj was bowling in last hours not Bumrah/Sami - pressure comes to mind which lead to disaster sometime.

3. We jumped from T20 to test cricket and took so much pressure to not hit 4/6 at all after 10th hour which was disaster. Our team was not balanced and always lacking with 1 bowler and 1 batsman so it says, whatever match we won - 70% batsman/bowler did well but all those 70% failed in final. Not a single batsman could take match further and couldn't hit 4/6 which lead to failure actually we needed. The had fielded and had great setup which saved 40-50 runs.

Finally, we should give this learning to this generation and our kids that:
