If Shareholder quota gets subscribed more than 1x, then will the allotment be on application-wise pro-rata basis or Shares-wise pro-rata basis?

SH Quota allotment will be on proportionate
Means jitne jyada lots ( max.13) aap apply karoge, utne hi jyada chances allotment milne k honge
One point note here if you apply for 1 lot in SH
You Will get nothing, because there will be very subscription in SH.

SH category is Not showing in ICICIDirect.

It will show on the IPO opening day..

Which one has more chances here: 1 Bhni or 5 Shni. Now trend has shifted and Bhni is getting higher subscription then ever before. In tata, all known persons are gonna apply Bhni.

IF BHNI subscription is less than SHNI x 5, then chances are good in BHNI over that of SHNI. But if allotted you will get 14 lots, you apply BHNI or SHNI.

If you have 5 accounts with different PAN go with 5 SHNI, application wise you are increasing your chances.

There is nothing like SH quota BHNI.
Under SH quota, you can bid a max worth 1.95 lacs.

As in will the person applying with 80 lots for example, will get a preference in allotment in BHNI segment ?

Ashish patel, there would be an extra option, "shareholder", look for it. Or you can always ask the person in charge at the bank, they will surely help you..

If deferent pan go with

1.one retail each in 2 accounts + shareholder category 13 lots in 2 accounts
Or
2 . One lot in shareholder category 2 accounts + 2 shni
