You can just apply through UPI, you can make application around 1 pm last day of IPO(make UPI mandate request), and you still have 1 more day to accept that mandate in that particular IPO. so if you fund is released on late night. You can still be able to apply in new IPO, because through UPI application its benefit.

13 lots each in 3 retail accounts? Means 39 lots in 3 retail acc.... Who does that in sufficiently oversubscribed issue?
Would hv been better if u had applied for 39 lots in one HNI acc. That would have carried some force.
For your 13 lots in each of 3 Retail acc the force will be equal to someone who applied for 1 lot in each of the 3 retail account.

@PAV lot of threads are there where it is clarified on how the allotment works in Retail and in HNI. Retail is very simple, in case of oversubscription, all applications are treated equally, whether its for 1 lot of multiple lots.

You can''t apply 39 shares in HNI. Is it lots? Then chances will be more on HNI. Best will apply one ratail and one HNI 38 lots

You should have applied for 1 lot each in 2 demat accounts and remaining 37 lots in HNI category in 3rd demat account

Thanks for your replies. I am new to IPO and just reading the forums to understand before I apply. I have never applied so far. I was not able to understand why one would apply for "39 lots in 3 accounts" based on the articles in this site. Now I got it.

I did the retail applications for Tarsons in HDFC sec.

Then tried putting in a HNI application too. I got a popup saying " Already one order has been placed from this PAN number"

So, to cancel an HNI, it would need to be a different broker. The same broker, even if he initially accepts the application, might not forward it to the exchange.

who have fund around 30lk-1cr have best chance to get max allotement in hni category due to fund block in latent

apply in hni category max may go upto 150x

apply with full force in hni category, go fashion will go upto 300x in hni

expecting tarson listing around 40% premium
