As Per NSE Web Site Dated 29/07/2015 Time:- 1:50 PM
Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs): 6.64 times Non Institutional Investors: 14.16 times Retail Individual Investors(RIIs): 1.14 times Shareholders: 0.41 times
Seeing it fully subscribed by yesterday, thinking of subscribing to 1 lot..but poor response from QIBs surprising. Most confusing IPO in recent times due to high offer price.
Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs): 1.61 times Non Institutional Investors: 0.26 times Retail Individual Investors(RIIs): 2.33 times Shareholders: 0.58 times
Hi guys, while filling application through HDFC bank ABSA application. It takes to HDFC Sec. site and fill the application. Problem is after all formality and clicked confirm. It just come back to the same first page of the form. And when check order book status. It says no application yet. 1)Do we need to register for this facility with Bank? Anyone facing same problem? 2) Does HDFC bank charge for this facility?
Yes, BIOCON SHARE HOLDER can apply in Both ( Retail Quota as well as BIOCON Reservation Quota )
If you are applying off line than a Separate Pink form has to be filled. But Remember you have to mention Demat account no. in which you are having BIOCON Shares on Record Date that is 14 July 2015.

Dear friends Please see my post on 26.07.2015 which is reproduced below
""Floor price of PFC FPO has been fixed at 254 & the retail investor is given 5 % discount I would suggest that all retail investors should bid at 254 only so that there is safety margin. The company will have to allot shares proportionately if the no of shares bid exceed total allocation. Remember floor price of REC FPO was fixed at 315 & some of our foolish investors had given bids as high as 335 & got allotment at that price. These investors eventually lost substantial investment since REC is now available at 285""
In PFC OFS just concluded, some retail investors have been so foolish that they have given bids as high as 300 with the result that only those who had given bids at 261.90 & above got the allotment at 261.80. In comparison, Non-retail category had given bids mostly around 254 with the result that they got allotment at 254.10
Retail investors who have now been allotted shares at 261.90 must be repenting since the share is quoted at around 246 now against discounted price of 248.80 ( 95 % of 261.90 ). Even at this price they cannot sell since the shares allotted in OFS will be credited in T+2 days or more in their DP account. Any person who will sell shares today can run a risk of the sold shares going into auction thereby incurring more losses.
Some investors who had given their bids at "Cut off" have also landed into the same problem
Advice: Don''t bid at more than floor price. You should increase the bid only when you see very high participation from Non-retail category. In PFC OFS Non-retail portion was subscribed only 1.4 times while retail category was subscribed 4.5 times
Pt.No.4 says: In addition to price bids, "Sellers" may provide retail investors option to bid at "cut-off", where the allocation to retail investors shall be made based on the cut-off price determined in the non-retail category.
I have purchased Biocon shares on 17.7.2015 and have therefore applied under Shareholder Quota. If u say that the shares should be in demat as on 14.7.2015 whether my application will be rejected or will it be added to Retailer (RII) quota. Pl. clarify.
Gaurav, technically, both IPOs are treated as separate IPO. One for normal investor and another for shareholders. If you are using online broker account, there should be two separate link appearing in your in IPO section. In this, select Shareholder IPO
