PE of listed peers varies in a big range. For example, PE of Sobha Realty is 90 and that of Brigade Enterprises is 68. Therefore, PE of 35 demanded in this IPO is not really pointing towards expensive valuations. Looking at GMP, it is good candidate atleast for listing gains in current scenario. Take call as per your own study. All the Best !

With all due respect, PE is an absolutely unhelpful metric when analyzing valuation of RE companies. Valuation of RE is far more complex and based on NAV depending on project pipeline, land bank, rental assets, etc other than basics of balance sheet health. I will be skipping this one.

How to identify if it's an impressive anchor book

Have never invested based on anchor book before, just study fundamentals and take a bet

Would love to learn this and add this part in my analysis

​@Aaashish ji - No scientific measure but based more on anecdotal and experiential learning. Typically, look for names of top 4/5 Indian MF's and top 4/5 Indian insurance companies in Anchor. Other than that look for names of some mid sized but well performing MF's like Mirae, Nippon etc. An Anchor full of new MF's like White Oak etc doesn't usually excite me. Also, an Anchor Book which is more Insurance heavy and less MF heavy doesn't excite me since Insurance money is usually longer term than MF money. Additionally, take note of the FI's which have participated in some of the past IPO's which you think have done well and if you see there name repeating then that is also a good sign. Lastly, more the number of differentiated entities (irrespective of multiple funds/schemes of the same entity) the better it is and an Anchor with too few names is again usually unexciting - keep issue size in mind for this aspect since most investors prefer chunky allocation and hence usually come in bigger issues and smaller issues are of lesser interest. Numerous other aspects like the above and the more Anchor lists you study, the more enriched your perspective shall be. Hope this helps!

I would say, case of bad timing.
Had this issue come in the 3 week gap between Tata Tech etc and DOMS etc, then it would also have been lapped up like hotcakes! As there was no competition for funds.
Now when most of us are juggling dates and funds, this will go down as one of the lesser preferred ones despite the decent anchor book.

You are taking it wrongly Surana ji. Dawa daaru is an idiom. Which means necessary medications for treatment of any disease. Here daaru doesn't depict alcohol. Aur rhi baat donation ki toh hamari khud ki pharmaceutical company hai aur humse Jo b bnta hai hum yhan PGI Chandigarh mei donate kr dete hain. Acha lgta hai. Aap bhi krke dekhna you will find some peace.
