How to trade in grey market please explain?

You must have noticed that GMPs are all told and heard.
They are probably imaginary premiums which people use to take imaginary trades to entice real people into attempting real investments / trades.

Just because some of us are not into in Grey trade, doesn't mean that it does not exist.

FYI, it exists and it's real. Promoters and everyone is involved into it. It's a big web of people.
*Though I am not into it.

This might sound like superstition but has anyone observed different success rates for applications lodged on different days of IPO?

Last heard - Seller at ₹50.
No broker seems to be interested in buying in Grey.

Just see the popularity of Chittor Garh. From early morning at 06.10 members start reading and posting messages. Latest GMP is available on Sunday also. So many members are getting latest updates on GMP. GREAT. So, the members are active and addicted of this forum.
Some members feel that when people get prosperity in respect of money, consumption of liquor increases is bit doubtful. Even poor people drink more irrespective of brand and quality.

@lucky boy, what is the promoter holding in companies like HDFC, L&T, ITC, Infosys, .... etc. ??
Though, Sula Wine is nothing before said giant companies but compared to its small size Sula Wine also has Investment by biggies in addition to Promoter holding. It is a market leader (52% market share) in its small size of business which has potential to grow big.

Thatswhy it is commanding GMP even before its price band announcement. Expected price band is 500-525. Anything less than 500 will be extra room for increase in GMP.

Jaise Jaise logo ka financial status badhega, waise waise Wine market bhi aur grow karega.. Wine is an important ingredient of so called ‘Luxurious Life’.

If qib bought shares post listing in secondary market. Do they have any lock in period for such shares like they have for shares alloted through ipo or through anchor allotment?

@deepblue do keep in mind that , anchor investors name are showed before listing, their name can influence people to take position, hence they have lockin period while we dont get qib names so no lockin period for them.
