Some banks offer this facility with certain terns and conditions:
Yes Bank

ICICI Bank
Indusind
Kotak Mahindra Bank
Hdfc
AU Bank
One should check with the bank directly for details and other requirements to avail such a facility.

@Ankur Goel Yes i am using FD against IPO BHNI application on Yes Bank icici Bank & indusinn bank you need to select Flexi FD option or tell to bank if u alloted ipo then first amt will deduct you saving balance then rest amt will break your fd amt as per require Note axis bank does not have this facility so i closed axis bank ac. hdfc & au bank i dont know

One little correction, @Chhote Lal bhau, HDFC bank does not allow this facility..🙏🙏

@Ankur Goel ICICI bank has a FD called Money Multiplier FD, a flexi/sweep in FD, which can be used for IPO application..

HDFC Bank extends sweep-in facility ( FD to savings a/c), but it seems same is not offered for trading in securities or applying in IPOs.

Yes, you are correct, sweep in FDs cannot be used for IPO application in HDFC bank..

@Vimal Garodia @Ravi Makkar @Chhote Lal in icici bank does it automatically creates the Money Multiplier FD from access amount or we have to manually create the FDs everytime?
Also is there any hidden charges or penalties if FD is broken?
In Kotak it has auto sweep in FD which automatically creates FD for the extra amount in the savings account.

@Cyberdude We have to create it manually.

Yes, there is a slight penalty for premature withdrawal. But, i never had to break a FD because i always arrange funds from other Acs into this Ac before FD breaks, so that FD does not break..
