All retail investor should know that their is no any listing of fpo. When your net portfolio show SCI share then go and sell share don't wait for listing and other.

Hi,
A apply for MOIL IPO (85 share) using icici direct site. But till now I am not able to see how much i applied but my amount has been block.

While the similar manner i apply for power gird/Coal india and it was working fine.

Pls advice.....

Retail..should they exit at whatever profit they get ...i feel soo.
Since the FPO was at steep price.

SCI cannont compete with private player..even though it big in size.

Ash Shardy,

I sold 140 put@5.3 and brought 150 put@1.65. Now based on today's last traded price I am gaining profit equal to 2 full 2 lacs applications. Assuming FPO listing day price will be 140. To gain from your trade, you have to wait for SCI to come out from ban period.

Still MOIL allotment and listing is pending which got closed before the shipping. So you have to wait for some more time.

I bought a SCI PUT for a premium of Rs 2 when the proce was hovering around Rs 144. Now when the price is down to around Rs 139 the PUT is still at the same premium.

Can any one here explain why the premium is near steady?

you are right. once FPO stock will start trading it will go below FPO price including 5% discount. b'coz it is adding more equity in market and most of FPO people looking for listing day Gain. So definitely it will go down. Good luck to all with SCI. I haven't applied for this. I am very bullish on MOIL.

Thanks Sreedhar for timely advice about shipping FPO. See the closing price today. Its 141. If the market falls for another day or 2, it will be less than issue price including 5% discount.

It is expected that full 2 lakh application will get 250 shares.
And 1 lakh application should got 125 shares.
