Based on the analysis of other FPOs here's some analysis for SCI. I think if the price band is 120-125. The price of SCI could come down to 133-135 by the time the stocks are credited to demat (15th Dec). This means now is the time to short this stock and make handsome gains..
Agree with the price of 120 as better than 135 for retail investor. Govt should have protected existing investor and given a price band when share was trading really up.... But 125-135 seems more likely....
At present levels, 125-135 seems a sureshot winner for SCI. This will leave approx 15% upside to retail investors and approx 10% for others. In the long run, this will then prove to be a 2 bagger in 1-2 years...

Ckshah, let the pricing be known first, then I will definately put a comment on the board, as per initial look, both are good companies, the pricing is the deciding factor, SCI is lethargic share moves slowly but comes down rapidly, baltic frieght rates not going anywhere, China is tightenign screws, hence SCI should be priced much much lower to make it a gud investment
One97, has got a impressive list of clients, good product line, but wait for some time, by the way have a look at One97 website, the best I have seen lately
good to see share value of SCI is decreasing...it may reach 138-140 by the time govt will take a decession on the FPO issue price....hope for retailors issue band will be around 120-130 with 5% discount...
@53 IPOtimes You are right - salaried employees shall not have any problem with IT scrutiny, but unfortunately nobody wishes to face it.

The shares of Powergrid will be credited to all demat tonight, the shares can be traded from tommorrow 25th November 2010, circular out in both NSE as well as BSE. So we were correct the shares of an FPO can be traded the day we see them in our account.
I have been reading about IPO investors expressing apprehensions about investing in the 2lakhs slot .For a employee like me , whose income is the salary and wishing to make extra money through IPO's, -will I have any problems with IT scrutiny etc.Anybody in the know of things please enlighten me!
