Please le me know the Listing date of SHILPI and GMP

Crude Oil - Crude has peaked many times in the past due to different reasons - mostly due to Middle East Crisis like the Iran- Iraq War in the 80s, Kuwait Invasion in th 90s, Iraq war later. during these times, the Crude climbed to new peaks but had fallen and stabilised later.

I personally believe Crude (nymex) will touch new highs $120,140 or may be 160 and fall & stabilise later in the range of $80-$90. Ofcourse Crude going to highs will have a bearish influence on stocks.

High Crude rate - Hike in Petrol / Diesel rate - Higher Inflation / Lower income for companies - Increase in interest rates - Tightening of Liquidity - Bearishness in stocks - Dip in Crude rate. (most of the members will know this but for the benefit of others).

crude has not seen any downturn infact it is going in upwords direction.but our market defies this fact.
what your view on current market scenrio,will be able to witness 5400-5500 level again in view of high crude prices .
i personally feel that market may correct to 5700 level .
other boarders vies also invited

evey body has forgotten crude now a days stock market is going up and bent crude is 120 mostly markets used to tang as soon as crude goes up
inflation has eased but this tempory as petrol and disel prices are kept on hold due to elections in some states the moment election is over petrol is going to rise
wait for antother round of interest rate hike by .25 points by may 2011

@390-DIVYA : Don't worry. No one has got them in DEMAT account so far.If listing is on 8th, as you say,most likely shares will be credited to your Deamat A/c by tomorrow.

I have applied for Shilpi IPO & i have checked on their Website that 1 Lot (79) shares have been alloted to me.

- But the alloted shares have not come to my DEMAT Account.
- I called (Beetal financial Ltd) to their Office many times, but nobody is picking the call & there is no reply to my mails also.
- There is no way to contact them.

What should i do???
Please suggest.....

I think in this forum all views except about IPOs are vigorously discussed.

Incidentally Acropetal has hit a new low of Rs53.50 today(It also had a lifetime high of Rs 156 not long ago, on 22nd March) and Lovable hit a new high of Rs299.50.
Any lessons in it for IPO applicants??
Some will go up after listing and most decline.

What should be the strategy for SHILPI??

Will we have some discussion on this also when there is some free time from our learned boarders??That is when they can get time away from Cricket and SBI bonds

First of all don't mix up things, here we are discussing about the performance in the finals of a bowler who is the top performer of the team, why do you want to talk about others, once again I remind you zaheer is an excellent bowler, with him or without him there is a lot of difference for Indian team, I am particularly talking about the loose bowling in the finals of the tournament who had given away 17 runs in 48th over and 18 runs in the final over, that too to part-time bowlers who is batting in the slog overs and not to a good batsman like Jayawardane.
Anyway I don't want to discuss further, its better to concentrate on market instead of quarreling on unnecessary things.

You haven't commented anything about Sehwag and Sachin who also failed in the finals. Does that mean we should not play them in the finals if they fail to score once more? I don't blame them but we must understand that it is part of the game. One cannot always be consistent. Even the great Muralidharan and Malinga (in his further spells) failed in the finals. Does that mean we call for their head?
Nobody has commented anything about the joker Sreesanth who failed miserably and Harbhajan, the front line spinner, who is supposed to rake more wickets than the part time spinner Yuvraj. But only Zaheer, the joint highest wicket taker, is targeted.
